Made a reservation in the morning before jumping on the ferry from Nantucket to Hyannis. Budget website confirmed my reservation and I pre-paid to avoid any issues. When I showed up at the counter in Hyannis, the woman behind the counter tells me that because I made my reservation this morning (and not earlier), she had no car for me. She didn't offer any further assistance beyond giving me a phone number that went no where (could not reach a human despite many attempts) and didn't mention that Budget would keep my money. Unbelievable.

Terrible service both on the ground and phone. Had to rent a car for medical emergency to Boston; prepaid for two days, as we were unsure of length of hospital stay. Turned out to be 8 days, we explained the emergency but they could care less. They upped the charge on the next 6 days. Then upon returning to the Cape we experienced a flat tire. It was 85 degrees outside, patient in the car was just released from Hospital where brain surgery was done; we couldn't wait
