Long story, short: got 2 trailer tires, one never held air. Brought the trailer back and parked it next to the building. Told the desk jockey the issue and that I'd parked it in the alley out of their way and I would return later. He mumbled something that I interpreted as assent.Fast forward, I return that afternoon to pick up my trailer.I go in and ask if my trailer is good to go. Guy says "Oh, the one you left right in our way all day long after I specifically asked you not to."At this point I'm a little confused. He tells me that he said they didn't have time to look at it and I should come back later. I apologize for the obvious misunderstanding, no big deal, right? He prints up an invoice and says "It was the stem, $25."Hmmm...I explain again how the new tire they put on never held air, so I'm not sure why you want me to pay you to fix it. He says, "A trailer tire would've been flat before now if we did it." I explain AGAIN that it WAS flat before today, I've been filling it every few days.... because it never held air....because your tech damaged it when it was originally put on. Blank stare in return. The result: I paid it...the last $25 I and everyone I know will spend at that dump.

Came in looking for a written quote for 4 tires plus labor and taxes. Apparently too much for the jerk behind the counter who told me ‘I don’t play that game’ regarding prices. What? An actual quote is too much to ask? I said we’re done and walked out. No way I would ever do business here, and by the end of day I had hard quotes from 3 of his competitors. I went with Sullivan.I hope the owner of this business reads this. If it’s the guy behind the counter today, you must like watching business walk out the door.

There add while on hold says free installation. When tire was quoted I was told install would be $15.00 and they don’t balance trailer tires. When I mentioned the add on the phone and I wanted the tire balanced I was told to go else where. I went to town fair.

Joe was very helpful and honest. The price he quoted was reasonable and exact. No surprises. Will always do business with Cape & Islands Tire.

Had bought 2 tires to be mounted and put back on the front or RV. Spare tire was to be put inside the RV. Wheel simulators to be put back on and extensions to be put back on the rear. Spent $1127.69 for work to be done. Dropped off at noon. Was called at 4 pm saying it was done and we close at 4:30pm. Told them I wanted to keep a front tire that was removed. Arrived at 4:18pm to pick up. The tire I wanted to keep was put on my spare ( didn't ask for that to be done). I had to find my spare tire that was removed to keep for future use. Extensions were not put on rear. I mentioned numerous times extensions need to go on. They seemed hesitant to install them. He said those things always leak. I've never had a problem with them. Joe said come back in the morning we'll put them on free of charge. Call that noon said can I come down to have those installed he said I spoke with the technician he said they leaked. We went back and forth then he said if you get new ones I'm going to charge you $50 to install them. You just lost a good customer I said. Have spent thousands of dollars for tires over the years there never had a problem. So after an hour and a half of my time I got them on the RV they don't leak at all. I called him to tell him that he told me to go f*** myself. Wow. And Joe is the manager. He needs to go. Fire his ass

I would never recommend them. Go around the corner to Cape Tire. So much nicer and a local place. I showed up with a slow leak in 1 of my tires. There was a condescending person that treated me lousy. Do you want the business or not? Doesn't seem like it. Don't mean to bother you. I'll tell others too. Thanks.

We were on our way to Provincetown with our 34 ft travel trailer attached over the memorial day weekend. Our left front tire on our truck was going flat & we were fortunate enough to be by cape & Island tire. We pulled in & they were able to plug the nail w/o unhitching the RV. Matt & his team were wonderful & we were in & out w/i the hr. Thanks so much for the help & would recommend them again!!!

A terrible experience the last time I went there to have a tire plugged. The guy at the front desk was extremely rude said the tire could not be plugged and he wouldn't even put the tire back on. Then he told me he would have my van towed off the property at my expense. I went down the street to Cape tire they plug the tire for me no problem.

terrible attendance. expensive labor costs, 70 dollars just to replace a one tire, just labor, no materials.

Excellent service and down to earth employees. Gentlemen came in while I was waiting and demanded that they put a tube in a tire. Said they didn’t do it the first time, Which was six months prior. The customer got loud and confrontational. I was expecting some excitement but the gentleman at the store handled it very respectfully and professionally. I applaud him
