I went in to get an acrylic fill, and received filing on my cuticles, gel nail polish on my cuticles, and the previous neon orange color on my white nails. My nails were chunky and lumpy, it feels like having dirt under my nails, and after messaging the nail tech she agreed, but because I didn’t say it in the moment and I texted her after she refused to give me a refund, and the only option she offered was for her to try again. I didn’t say anything at the time because I am very shy. I’ve never complained at a nail salon ever this is a first.

This was my third time coming.. there is a new younger lady that helps Maria wash and blow dry hair.. she’s very rough and doesn’t seem to have manners when she’s spoken to… she’ll ignore you and roll her eyes.. there are two different people blow drying my hair and pulling hard on each side.. the younger one was more heavy handed and seem to be taking her anger out on my hair and extremely damaging my hair keeping the blow dry on it for so long causing heat damage once ask maria if she could just continue to do it because she’s rough seems Maria caught an attitude and began to be rough and rude… being there my third time Maria was rude pushing my forehead with her finger when she couldve just asked me to lean back my head . The first other times she was nice but I definitely feel like they discriminated against black females a lot and it’s confusing because they work with mostly African America / Jamaicans.. my hair is not difficult to maintain being a black female that’s why I was wondering what’s the problemanyways the price is different each time I come this is why I continue to go to my Dominican salons in NY and Philadelphia ONYL and I definitely will not be returning because the after results were terrible.

Treatment of customer varies case by case. The straighter your hair and lighter your skin tone the better you will be treated outright. I experienced a level of texturism, roughness, and terrible customer service I was naive to tell myself didn’t exist in the big year of 2025. I went here because I was recommended by stylist from a beauty store. Prior I have never got my hair washed or treated at a professional salon. The moment I walked in the salon was unorganized and dirty. A sick Hair stylist would wipe their nose on a rag and then immediately go back to doing a clients hair repeatedly without washing hands. No proper introduction, no guidance . Lighter and straighter hair customers would walk in an immediate smiles and professionalize. The stylist I had took out their anger out on my hair and was very rough. I have course type 4 hair. Not the easiest to manage but there’s a level of roughness you don’t engage in. If you have hair above Type 3, you are better off going to another salon. Notice the demographic of ladies posted on divas sms pages. Do not ignore the signs. Do not be naive.

Maria is the absolute best!!!! She is the only person I trust with styling and cutting my hair. I live in SC now but I wait until I visit the Cape to get my hair done so that Maria can do it. I love her!

This place is amazing, I got exactly what I asked for and the customer service was on another level. The music there was amazing the just the whole vibe of the room between the coworkers and the clients was just amazing. I love ❤️ everytime I have my nails to do Monica Ramos are the best I know for nails, I already go there for more than a decade and she's so amazing and professional the type very rarely to find on this days every work is unique.

They did my daughter's hair ONE time, then gave up!!! Now I admit my daughter's hair was tough,, but they didn't have to give up like that!! I went in again and asked them to give me a call, but they didn't call back. We will be going to RI to get her hair done from now on. Peace out.

Best hair/nail salon by far. Have been coming here for about 6 years. After MANY salons that could not meet my needs and spending lots of money coming out unhappy i found Divas.
