Came out of COVID desperate for new color and was lucky enough to find El Coco Aveda Cape Cod! They took me from overdyed brunette to a natural looking blonde the blends out my gray and I couldn't be happier.For the first time in my life I regularly get compliments on my hair! I've even gotten a few comments from other stylists who tell me how great my hair looks. I know my appointment will go smoothly (the whole crew there is amazing!!!!) and I'll walk out of there looking great. Appointment day is always one of my favorite days!

WOW! Talk about the perfect mix - professional, efficient and FUN! I called for an appt. Gal at desk SO sweet. Got reminders days before. When I walked in, friendly greeting and sat down with Kim right away. What a hoot SHE was! And dang, can she cut hair! And she knows her AVEDA products. In fact, the gals working that day all were so professional and accessible. All around great experience! Way to go!

This salon is definitely worth the visit!This is my 2nd visit to El Coco Cape Cod.Lainie was my stylist, she’s very skilled, gentle and a delight to be with.Lainie’s quality of service was top notch! 5 Stars, if not more.The salon was clean, the staff was very welcoming as soon as I entered.The receptionist even hung my coat!The salon has great vibes, friendly customers and professional stylists as well as the staff.A salon with awesome hospitality!The Aveda hair products are the best products to use on your hair.The staff was very knowledgeable when I had questions about the Aveda product on the shelf.I totally recommend this salon and definitely Lainie! However I believe you won’t be disappointed with another stylist if Lainie isn’t available.The stylist chairs were filled with happy customers!Lainie, I’ll be back for sure! My 1st time time at this salon but no my last. Cassie is truly a master stylist. Had to correct a terrible haircut from another salon & needed a color to cover greys. Cassie did an amazing job with my color, gave me a fantastic haircut & a great blow dry.I have thick, wavy, frizzy hair and she didn't use any flat-iron, just brush & blowdrier. My hair was so shiny and bouncy. I received so many compliments on my hair. Cassie you have a long term loyal client ! Just wanted to add the salon is beautiful and the people so friendly. I had a nice haircut and chat with Tiffany while visiting from out of town. Pleasant, calm, lowkey salon, I would guess about 4 stylists, they were very nice to me even though I'm not a regular. Cut was about $75 plus tip.

Had a truly great experience with Cassie who gave me a full foil to help make my hair have a lighter look. She was so patient with all my questions, answering each one so thoroughly! She was fun and engaging and gave me exactly the effect I was looking for! Looking forward to going back again!

Not an Aveda experience at all. Wasn’t offered anything to drink. Sat down first thing I say is I haven’t had a haircut in almost a year and how much I was looking forward to the salon experience of washing styling etc.I show pics of what I’d like done, stylist didn’t ask any questions didn’t do ANY real consultation. Went to wash my hair, didn’t ask if I had any issues I’d like to address or if I had a preferred shampoo conditioner, starting washing with cold water. I asked

Booked an appointment with George over six weeks ago for January. Ample time for an appointment, four months preparation to be exact. Today I receive a call that he's unavailable that day. I'm confused as to why I wasn't notified in the past 6 weeks? So, the receptionist said he has availability the following week...at 2 PM. I had booked for 10 AM, as my schedule does not allow for appointments that late. I was told he does not have any available appointments at that time until Summer 2022. What? Lol. Unprofessional. Worked in an Aveda salon in NYC before as a receptionist, and knew my stylists schedule well enough that if someone booked four months out...we'd make accommodations or at the least notify my customer of his unavailability immediately after booking, not six weeks later. That's pathetic honestly. Definitely will not be going, unfortunate that was my first & only impression. And I've attached my email as proof that I made my appointments over six weeks ago, because I'm seeing in the past you query whether or not the reviews are fraudulent. There's your evidence George!

Very disappointing. I went with high hopes for master technician $95 hair cut. Left with a mess of frizzy hair. Didnt ask what I wanted, cut bangs without asking - cut them badly, (not blended too short - I could've done better). Wanted to "leave it curly" against my better judgment, he was going to "show me how to make it curly". The back of my hair is curly, the top and sides are not. So after putting gel on my hair and flipping my head over he lightly blow dries it and tells me to use a diffuser. This is a new technique? I've had half curly hair for 50 years you're not teaching me anything new here. When the top and sides just turn to frizz he just sprays it with water. It was a mess. By the time it fully dried I looked like I had hair earmuffs. I flat ironed it and saw he didn't trim any of the top layers on the right hand side and that the bangs were a mess. I was in an out of the salon in 30 minutes. Never let them leave it "natural" it hides all the flaws in the haircut. Piss poor job, beyond overpriced, beyond disappointed. Will not go back, do not recommend. And while I was required to wear a mask, my stylist (owner) was not.
