the worst experience I have ever had with customer service. When I bought the car, if it weren't for my desire to buy, the purchase would not have been made. They made all my documents wrong during the purchase where I had serious problems with payment. and in the service area, everyone with an appearance of superiority doesn't give a damn about you. Don't choose Toyota will hyannis!!!

Jeremy went above and beyond to answer all my questions and concerns. His professionalism made the difference between me shopping at Ira Hyannis, or a competitor. He went out of his way to help me. Not only did he assist with all my concerns but he did so with a smile. Thank you Jermey for the helping me with my purchase!

Stay away from this place, if you're going to pay the dealership money, do yourself a favor and go to Falmouth Toyota.Despite providing the service department with a comprehensive account of the issues plaguing my vehicle, including misfires in cylinders 3 and 4 as well as running rich, I found myself waiting for over 8 hours with no credible insights into the problem. It became painfully evident that they had made minimal effort to examine my vehicle. I witnessed no movement from the parking spot where I left it for hours. Their vague assertions about the potential causes of the misfire, such as the crankshaft sensor, lacked sound reasoning. They said they needed more time to diagnose my truck after not examining the vehicle for almost the whole day. To add insult to injury, they levied a charge of $285, seemingly as a gesture of goodwill for not imposing a $400 fee. The advertised price was $99 online! They also blatantly misled me about the state of my timing belt, falsely claiming it required replacement, and mistakenly identifying it as the original when it was, in fact, a different brand and relatively new. Stay away.

Took out a Highlander in for service. We’ve been pretty unhappy with the service we been receiving since they switched to Ira. When my husband walked in and saw Meaghan ‘s face, she was beyond excited to see that she was back and in charge. We came in for a simple oil change and tire rotation. Meaghan came out and told my husband that we need a new brakes in the tires on the front of the vehicle were very bad. She was so concerned she said she didn’t want him to drive the vehicle home. We left the vehicle there and Meaghan made sure everything was done in a timely manner and done properly. This is the first time in a few years that we’ve received such great service as we used to when it was Hyannis Toyota. The personal touch that Meaghan gave us this time, and as she always had in the past, will make us come back to service our car there again. We’ve been seriously considering not going back to the dealership. Meaghan ‘s presence changed our mind.

I made an appointment for a 30,000 mile service by calling the number on the website. When I called, I intended to make an appointment for my next day off from work, but the woman on the phone said there were appointments available that same day starting at 11am and going every fifteen minutes for several hours. I stopped her before she finished and took a 1pm appointment. I arrived on time, checked in (I asked that they also check and fix a slow leak in a tire), and had a seat in the waiting room where I watched my truck sit for over an hour and a half before being taken in for service. When they finally came to get me to check out, I was informed that they were unable to find the leak in my tire. I was putting air in my tire every 2-3 days at that point so I knew it was leaking. After telling Eric (the gentleman I was working with) that I would have to take the truck to another shop, he suggested he speak with the shop foreman and get a master tech to look at it. That took around another hour. The master tech didn’t find the leak either and suggested they break down the tire and put it back together, resealing the bead which he did. So, when all was said and done, I spent from 1pm to 6:20pm sitting in the Ira Toyota waiting room on my day off from work. I am not happy. The service itself was, as far as I know, satisfactory, and all the folks in the office, especially Eric Moberg with whom I dealt, were very professional, kind, and understanding of my frustration. My truck was originally a fleet vehicle at Ira and has never been serviced anywhere else. I’d like to keep it that way but my time is more valuable than that. The real problem, it seems is that the woman who took my phone call (I later learned she was at a call center n Texas) had no clue how busy and apparently short staffed the dealership was. She practically offered me any time I wanted from 11am on but the reality was, there was no one at the dealership to handle the work. I hope you’ll do something to fix this problem.

Not the best experience. Danny G was a nice guy but that’s where the good ended. Every question meant another trip to “The manager” just to get an ambiguous non-answer. Then they told me the $295 fee for nitrogen in the tires was non-negotiable until it wasn’t. Once having fought to get that fee removed the new sales sheet came back with big FINAL stamped in it. So I took that as I had asked all I was allowed to ask for on this sale! So I told the salesman to tell “Mr Final” to take his paper, his red stamp, and his car and stuff it! Will never return to Ira Hyannis and will definitely steer anyone I know away from them going forward. Only gave 2stars because Danny G seemed alright I hope he finds a real dealership to go work for. Just noticed they only respond to positive reviews. Shows the level of arrogance in my opinion or no balls to acknowledge their own lack of basic customer care self awareness. Save yourself the headache go off Cape to Sullivan Brothers in Kingston if you want to work with pro’s.

Ever since it got sold, the service is worse and the prices are higher. I bought a new car that didn't have a mount for the front license plate. I was fine paying the $60 for the mount. But they wanted to charge me to take the 30 seconds and screw it on. I've had my car serviced every 3 months with this dealer for 5 years..... and they can't screw a mount on for me without charging.

Customer DIS-service!Criminal? Thief? Our family has been buying cars from this dealership for years. A 2013 Prius, 2021 RAV4 Prime, and currently shopping for a 2024 vehicle.Took our Prius in 2nd time trying to fix problem with starter failing to engage in Ready mode. Also had a power windows malfunction where they automatically opened after being rolled up. (Needed recalibration). Finally, needed rear brakes checked. On Saturday, they called and said my battery was completely dead and wouldn’t take a charge. That didn’t make any sense. How was I able to drive it there? If there was no charge, the windows wouldn’t work at all.Answer: “You were lucky.”Sorry, but luck doesn’t create electricity. Also, you’re breaks are seized up and your rear wheel won’t turn at all.Again, how could I drive it there without feeling resistance and a burning smell?Having lost faith due to this obvious misdiagnosis, I asked them not to work on it and told them I’d pick it up.On Sunday, I was all set to repair my own car with a mechanic friend. We went to get my car but the dealership was closed, so I used a spare key fob and would have to return to get my original fob.On Wednesday, I get a call from “Megan” who was yelling at me and calling me a criminal and accusing me of theft of services. (Apparently they did an oil change despite not doing any repair work). So now I’m a criminal and a thief because I still owed them $69 for an oil change while they still had my $200 key fob.The tragedy is that we live in a small town and there are some truly great people who work there (Justin, Stephen, Issac) that I have forged personal relationships with. But this is a business not a person, and I cannot in good conscience buy cars from them anymore. The service department really screwed the sales department.

Family member has been a loyal customer of the Hyannis Toyota dealership for many years, bought multiple new cars and had them all serviced here. Recently bought yet another new SUV. It came with a trailer hitch that turns out to be unusable for even a small yard trailer because they want almost $1,000 to wire it for the legally required lights. He tried to go to UHaul but Toyota has not provided specs or parts so UHaul can't do it, though their price was reasonable. None of this was disclosed at purchase and multiple attempts to resolve the problem have resulted in nothing but extended games of phone tag (mgr would not reply via email, I've seen this before in other businesses, they know many people will eventually give up). Sadly this place used to be really good (I'm a former customer) before it changed ownership. It's no secret some car dealers have slacked off due to low supply and high demand, but the Cape is a small place and word gets around fast. Good businesses know that one happy repeat customer is gold. Apparently Ira Toyota has yet to figure this out.

I don't know how my horrible review of this place was taken down. I have it cut and pasted in my notes and it will be reposted. Horrifying sales man who treated me horribly and treated my lady friend like she gold. A real shame. A real player of a sales man. I took my lady friend to another car dealership of Hyannis and they got our money and respect. I have the name of the salesman and I will post it on here with my original comment/complaint/disrespect and outright shady behavior. My lady friend said she felt so uncomfortable with the salesman that she would NEVER EVER go back to Ira Toyota. The manager read my review and wrote that he would get back to me. NOT. Nobody from Ira Toyota inquired or apologized to either of us about this salesman's behavior. Be careful. Especially if you are a woman when going to this place. More information to follow !!! Horrible person and horrific sales services. I'm disgusted and disappointed that they took down my review and they didn't follow through with the complaint and comment that they would get back to me. I should have written the salesperson name back then. I just came on to see my review and see if they ever responded as stated. Just to find out my review has mysteriously disappeared. I'll be back to finish the post after retrieving the salesman name and paperwork which was a farce.

Very happy with my service at Hyannis Toyota. Meaghan Hughes and her service team are great to work with. They always tell me what is needed and what is not. I reliably get great service here. They keep my old Tacoma running. 346k miles and counting.

I had an appointment scheduled at 9:15 for 4 new tires. I received an email the day before that the tires were there and confirmed my appointment. When I checked in they said it would be between 1-2 hours. I finally got my car at 1:20 A Full 4 hours I waited to get 4 new tires on my car. I have been a very loyal customer and am very frustrated with this

My family and I absolutely love Hyannis Toyota. Their service department consistently goes above and beyond to help us out. We can trust them to level with us and provide fair consistent work at an affordable price. There have been times that I’ve had to decline service and they never try to pressure or strong arm me into it and respect my decisions. We love Hyannis Toyota and will continue to go here.

I made an appointment on a Saturday, my car was in as soon as Wednesday. My car was making funky noises, I had some idea what the issue was but not 100% sure. I dropped my car off at 9 and it was ready at 3. The process was simple, I got a notification on my phone that my approval was needed, I clicked on a link and it took me to a website that explained the issues. I was able to approve the work to be done. There was also a phone number connected if I had any additional questions or concerns. Overall I really enjoyed my experience, Izzy was great as well!

I will be returning here for any future vehicles I may purchase. Thanks to Justin, I found a car that really matched what I was looking for. Normally, anything car-related is stressful for me because I was somewhat unexperienced and was very unsatisfied from my last car purchase elsewhere. Justin helped me throughout the entire process- he went above and beyond, making me and my whole family feel confident in his knowledge. He answered any questions we had and even went through multiple options to find which one would fit the best for us. He truly went out of his way to help us in so many ways and I feel so grateful. I went in feeling apprehensive but came out 110% happy. I wish there were 6 stars to give. Thanks a million, Justin.
