There have been longstanding problems with the staff at this pharmacy. I believe the misery here is driven by a pharmacy tech (dark hair; heavy-set) and her unresolved rage and control issues. Her nastiness spreads to all the other employees (including the pharmacist -- who is responsible for her own unacceptable behavior). The result of the personal issues of these employees has been regularly occurring bullying and abuse of customers -- who just want to pick up a simple prescription. The only solution to this is to stay entirely away from this pharmacy and its totally untreated employees. The manager (Mike Sims) is aware of the problem but will not address it. The members of our community are being subject to harassment here, and the manager and pharmacy staff should be fired immediately.

Pharmacy staff has the Worst customer service of any CVS I have been to! Extremely rude personnel!

This CVS is horrible! I had mouth surgery and needed to pick up my prescription and get home.. The pharmacist was not only rude and dismissive but treated me with complete disdain while she did "other things". I waited but had to put up with another girl then filling prescriptions telling me " did i want my prescription filled or did I just want to argue with her". She kept repeating that. I was just asking how much longer did I need to wait while she filled other prescriptions. I was the only one waiting. When the prescription was filled the pharmacist literally threw the package at me without a word. This is a beautiful large new store but CVS needs to take over and replace the incredibly rude angry personnel from the pharmacy to the front check out desk. Ive been a CVS patron for 31 years and now realize I need to transfer to Walgreens

This CVS was great when the location first opened - now it is not worth it. The pharmacy is not efficient and will tell you have to wait for some medication to come in but it never does. Just tells you to keep calling back. Also the coupon system is a mess, I get some coupons with my prescriptions that are some how not tied to my CVS reward card. Why bother - all they tell you is to call the 800 number and have them straighten it out. Not willing to do that. Since a new Walgreen's is right around the corner, I might as well switch.

I would give zero stars if i could. Rude, unhelpful, unprofessional and disrespectful. If you're on Cape Cod and need a pharmacy, do yourself a favor and stay away from 411 Barnstable Road.

Lack of professionalism. I understand these are stressful times and this Pharmacy Tech may have been overwhelmed with a upset customer but this customer had called to check on whether a life saving medication was ready and was told it was. She went to get it and was told by the Tech she could not find it in her system. Medical office contacted and Tech was curt and sounded extremely overwhelmed. Turns out this Rx was ready, customer had to go home and get old bottle to bring back to show Pharmacy Tech they were in the system. I'm sorry but this Tech could have taken just a little more time to search in the computer for this customer information instead of brushing her off. I deal with clients on a daily basis that are upset and over emotional and it is not easy, but have to weigh which is more important at the moment, lifesaving medication or cotton swab up the nose. Yes, Covid testing extremely important but shouldn't they be staffed well enough to handle both.

I made a mistake and came to the Cape without my BP medication. As I am a CVS CAREMARK customer, I expected to be able to get a few pills locally. I called the CVS at 411 Barnstable Rd and the pharmacist refused to help. She said she wanted the prescription transfer to her pharmacy first or a new prescription from my doctor. CVS CARMARK called this pharmacist TWICE and explained that I do have a valid prescription for the BP medication. This pharmacist would not help under any circumstance. I called my doctor who was on vacation due to 4th holiday, but I did reach the on call doc and they called in new script to CVS Target. Went to pick up this CVS closed for holiday. Finically I went a third CVS. I told the pharmacist my story and I was handed 3 pill no hassle. My message. NEVER NEVER NERVER deal with the CVS pharmacy at 411 Barnstable Rd. The people running that pharmacy are not helpful, compassionate or customer focused. You have choices anyplace would be better.

I've never met a more unprofessional pharmacy employee than at this store. Please train your staff. We as consumers have options and I will not be going to this CVS again and will switch my services to Walgreens. Terrible experience.

It's brand new with plenty of parking. Located right off o busy traffic circle which makes access in and out pretty tricky. CVS loves to print three feet of coupons which I generally haven't taken advantage of but I was in long line beside someone trying to max out the benefits by adding small pieces of candy to meet a coupon minimum. Then because of this or that an additional coupon would qualify. That needed to be explained and customer was disappointed, asked why, tried again and the line grows. The second cashier was just chatting away with his costumer, laughing with no concern that a line was building. Not only are those there foot worth of coupons a waste of pater and ink when cashing them in they cause delays. My cashier was unfazed.
