From the moment Julie called me after my inquiry things could not have gone better. Vanguard moved my family's piano from the Cape to my home on the North Shore. Excellent communication. Great advice. I wish I could remember the names of the crew, but they were so friendly, patient with my questions and did a great job. Thank goodness the piano fit in the spot I wanted. I am now playing again. Thank you!

We just completed a local move and highly recommend this company. Every interaction from start to finish was friendly and professional -- and they were very accommodating of some last minute decisions about what we could move ourselves and what would stay/go, etc. As it turned out our move happened on the hottest day we've yet experienced all year. The crew was heroic and maintained professionalism despite the oppressive heat, and we are so grateful for their hard work. Highly recommend.

The Vanguard pros did an amazing job moving a huge, 7 foot solid cherry armoire from our garage into our bedroom. They strategized, strapped in, stayed in communication, lifted, hoisted, dipped and tipped and without much fanfare and zero issues - despite a pretty tricky turn and dip - delivered the behemoth unscathed to it's new home in our bedroom! To say these guys were the ultimate well-trained, friendly, polite and confident pros is an understatement! I HIGHLY recommend this impressive, family-run business that cares about excellence and its employees in equal measure and it shows!

I made a move from Cape Cod to the eastern shore of Southern Maryland. There was no question that I would have Vanguard do the move since they had done a STELLAR job 8 years ago when I moved from one Cape Cod town to another, during which the owner, Tom was on the moving team and treated me AND his employees with such respect and efficiency. When they asked at the end of the job if there was anything else they could do for me, I asked them to move 3 heaving items to the basement. They immediately did what I asked without hesitation. During this out-of-state move, for a fair price they provided the same stellar service even though Tom was not with the crew. The guys who unloaded the truck, worked hard to place everything where I wanted it. Their friendly attitude, humor, and fantastic work ethic made for a 5 star experience with Vanguard once again!
