A nice country setting to have a small gathering or just come for a meal and browse their shops. Plenty of country gifts and herbs to choose from and the meal was delicious!

We had a lovely and peaceful overnight at the B&B on the last night of our Massachusetts tour. The farm is located on a quiet rural road not far from town which was perfect for us after a day hiking nearby Wachusett Mtn. The room was clean and cozy and had warm bedding for a cool fall night. We had a delicious breakfast made by Carissa and enjoyed talking with her and her Mom, Lynn about their business and local news. A very charming and friendly atmosphere recommended for weary travelers and romantics looking for a peaceful respite from a busy world!!

We wanted a quiet place to celebrate our 44th anniversary and this place was more than pleasant. Lynn and Carissa were welcoming and provided everything we needed. The room was well appointed, clean, quiet, and the private bathroom was a bonus. Comfy bed with AC made our mid-summer stay perfect. The grounds of this working herb farm were in full bloom and we watched Lynn pack up her truck for the weekly farmers market. Check out Barre Commons Farmers Market. The house may look like a nineteenth century relic but don’t be fooled, it has all the modern conveniences, like fast Wi-Fi. It’s off the beaten track but worth going out of your way. Oh, and it would be a great wedding venue.

After so many months passed I thought I was over the horrific experience I went through at this place. But, when the wedding pictures arrived it all came back. These pictures are all tainted. As I sit and go through them each and every picture has a bad memory. Where should I begin with my rant about this place? I guess I will start with the rehearsal dinner. The bridal party arrives and we are clueless on where to go and what to do. About 40 minutes later clueless on where to go and what to do we were finally told where to go.After doing a walk through yes, just one walk. We were left standing in these heat for about 30 minutes wondering where or what to do next. We asked if we were going to do it again. This lady says I'm a stern voice" it's not hard to just walk". We proceeded to the reception for the dinner we were seated for this so called dinner. What's for dinner you ask? Raw burgers not pink RAW! Chicken was rubbery the ranch sauce on the table had a fly in it. When I quietly and politely asked to have another sauce we waited for it. The best part of the "so called dinner" was the potatoes. Water on the table had no ice and if we asked for ice by the time we got it it was melted. Moving on to the Big day.Saturday morning comes hairdresser and makeup artist are calling us to ask where to park. There was no one out outside directly traffic or any signs. Why should the guests call the bridal party asking where to park? Shortly, our photographer arrived. Yes, we hired our own photographer but for some reason this lady had to take our pictures as well which, till this day we are yet to see them. her response was I'm the owner. I've done this a million times and never worked with you difficult people. The nerve! We hired one so you can go direct traffic and make sure there were no flies on the cake!!! Yes the God dam cake was covered in Flies! Should have known when I saw that one fucker in the dressing. We asked to have a table to be moved many times. She would not move it because the next day she had another wedding and they wanted it there. What!!!!I was upset told her that we can move it for her. At this point I was done with her and her mother. My patience ran out we exchanged not to pleasant to rods and slammed the door on my face. Once the wedding was done mind you the seats were wet. They decided to clean the seats right before the guest arrived so they all had wet behinds. We were told this is handicapped accessible. They lied one of our groomsmen has a prosthetic leg and it was very hard for him to hurdle a hose left on the ground and then going up a hill. Almost done here, when the wedding party gets seated all of our guest and even staff knew what occurred with me and this lady. Long story short DO NOT HAVE YOUR WEDDING HERE!!!!

My company sent me flowers today in expression of condolences in the passing of a family member. Hartman's put together this beautiful display and hand delivered to my home even when our roads are recovering from the recent storm. Thank you Hartman's for the care you showed with this delivery, much appreciated.

Our family rented out the B&B for 3 nights while in town for a wedding. We had a lovely time, there were plenty of beds and everyone was very comfortable. Lynn made sure we had everything we needed, she is a wonderful host.

For a "one stop shop" wedding, you simply cannot pass up Hartman's Herb Farm. Our wedding was perfect, truly better than I could've ever imagined. Lynn and Carissa are wedding wizards - professional, accommodating, and hospitable. They take care of everything so you don't have to worry about a thing. Our guests are still raving about the beautiful grounds, charming chapel and dining room, gorgeous flowers, comfortable B&B rooms, and the most delicious wedding food. Planning a wedding at Hartman's Herb Farm was stress-free...there just aren't enough thank you's in the world for Carissa and Lynn!

My husband and I just had our wedding at Hartman's in June. Carissa was a dream to work with, everything was exactly as I wanted, and the food was fabulous. Our wedding pictures are just beautiful as well... with plenty of locations all over the farm grounds to choose from. Hartman's is pet friendly, and accommodated all of my "flower girl's" needs. Finally, Lynn designed and provided all of the flowers for the event, and they were beyond my expectations. I cannot recommend Hartman's enough if you are planning a wedding in your future!
