I'm so glad I decided to try to place! Its an old school greek style pizza place with the friendliest greek guys behind the counter. The type of greek place with homemade baklava on the county. You wont be disappointed! Bring cash, its cash only, I love how people left bad reviews because of that, how can you judge a place for being cash only? I think thats awesome to see nowadays.

Place is cash only. I went to a new place to try and save a couple dollars on lunch however to my surprise I was forced to pay a $5 bank fee to withdraw cash from the ATM to pay for my food. If you are going to be cash only in almost 2024, at least play a repeated message before you pick up the phone saying this when people place orders. Nothing on the website about cash only either.

This place makes really great tasting pizza, best around in my opinion. The pizza is a thicker crust with plenty of topping. The place is small with a few seats. It is old and not very pretty, but the food makes up for it. The staff are friendly. Service is always pretty quick.

Very tasty food , and the sweetest kind of people you want to deal with. The atmosphere can improve meaning they can make it more appealing to the eye but it's not a bad

1130 (ish) seating for one. There was a steady stream of customers in and out but service was fast and the food was delicious. Cash only, which there are signs for, but be aware if you are from out of town when you get here; there is an ATM in the store for people like me that show up not knowing that.Soft drinks are in the bottle and a fountain instead would be a nice addition but in a cozy, clearly been here forever, establishment it's understandable. Will definitely be back if I'm ever at Hanscom again.

Wow. It’s not a place I’d like to sit and eat. The dining room really needs a renovation. But the people were friendly. It’s cash only but there is an ATM next to the register so even if you don’t have cash you can get some. The pizza was ok. Chicken and ham (my usual) was generously topped and cheesy as well. The bacon and pineapple (not for me) had decent flavor but the bacon was on the bottom and not crisp at all.The pizza selection in Bedford is minimal so it is probably the best choice is town. It’s better than Express pizza which closes early.Kid-friendliness: Are there kids who don’t like pizza?

I figured I should post recent pics of the OG (meaning the Original Grinder) that started this micro-blog of mine, dedicated to said sandwich. I have been secretly obsessed with this item for years and Steve's in Bedford - which is a traditional Greek "House of" pizza in every sense of the phrase - will always be my top spot. Maybe yours too. No frills, a few wooden booths, and simple decor. Here, it's all about the food. Hot, fresh and fast. What separates Steve's OG meatball grinder from others is not just taste alone but consistency and attention to detail. They only use fresh meatballs which have a magical flavor, very tender and moist. Then they always SLICE the meatballs so they don't slide around in the soft-yet-crispy toasted roll when you bite in. And, maybe most important of all, is that they portion the sauce and provolone cheese ratios perfectly so it's not a sloppy mess. And that's where the consistency come in - it's always this perfect. They seldom if ever stray from these details to always serve up the tastiest, freshest meatball grinder in the area. They'll tell you ten minutes but it will be ready in five! Ten out of ten meatballs.

Worst pizza I have ever had in my life. Frozen pizza from MB is better. Ordered a pepperoni pizza and I came out as a cheese pizza.

I’ll tell you that based on some of the pics, I came into this place with low expectations. But, your common google reviewer is not a professional photographer, so I will cut them some slack. The pizza here is Greek style, and a very good one at that. That style is not for everyone, but if you grew up with it, you are gonna love this place. Kudos to the cooks here. One thing that always ruins pizza for me is a bad sauce. This sauce is great and holds as a great base. The crust is light and flaky in the best way. The cheese takes it home. They only take cash, which is annoying and sketchy, but the pizza is so good, I won’t knock them for it. Enjoy Steve’s!
