Uploaded his vaccines in their portal 2 days before his interview, get there and they say they need one updated (even though not expired), no phone call beforehand and they refuse to do his trial day. They knew they needed it updated too because it was the very first thing they asked for when I arrived. I own a business in Bellingham and drove an hour from downtown Boston then carved out an hour to wait for him during his trial day. Super dissapointing. Now I also have to drive him back to Boston and drive an hour back to Bellingham to work. I’ll just take him somewhere that communicates better

My husky pup Milo loves Camp Bow Wow in Bellingham. He isn’t a talker but always yelps when we turn the street corner. Being from out of state and signing him up was so easy even with all of my schedule changes. They were able to accommodate us and were the friendliest bunch when we arrived. The facilities are clean and the app is a breeze to use. I even called in to book one day and they were accommodating. Love Camp Bow Wow!

We’ve been taking our puppy to Camp Bow Wow in Bellingham since he was old enough to attend. He loves it and comes home exhausted but happy! It provides some great socialization for him. The staff is extremely nice and seem to really care about the dogs they work with. They also have wonderful extras like enrichment activities and offer adorable seasonal photos of the dogs!Which is all wonderful but I am really writing this review because of how well they treated us during a family emergency. We had the sudden death of a close family member earlier this year and needed last minute dog care for him. The location manager made an exception for us and took him overnight. The staff was so caring about our situation and they really went above and beyond to help us. Plus they took excellent care of our boy!I would recommend them to anyone looking for dog care or just a great way to socialize your dog!

We love love love camp bow wow Bellingham!!! …. When we first brought our Mac there this past Oct as a 9 month old (at the time 60 lb) “puppy” he was a bundle of big dopey crazy lab puppy. He had been asked to leave another puppy d/c because he was “too excitable” and was having difficulty taking social cues from other dogs. Needless to say I was very tentative/anxious about how it was all going to go. Sara & Jamie - and the entire staff were so amazing, understanding & transparent w/us as Mac learned to navigate his way around. Some days needing more naps than usual & some time outs. But that was ok b/c they ensured me that was ok! …. I appreciated so much Jamie & Sara calling me the first month (+) or so to keep me posted on how he was doing. (They knew I was so anxious that he might get asked to leave). Nope. They love Mac & Mac loves them. You can always tell how much the staff really cares about the pups. Fast forward almost 5 months to now (he’s about 90 lbs now and still “a lot of puppy”) .. he has made some good puppy friends, is better at social cues & loves his humans at bow wow too! ... I know Mac loves it there just by how excited he gets in the AM if I say we are “going to go see his friends”... I trust Mac there & recommend that if you’re looking for puppy/dog day care not to hesitate giving Camp bow wow Bellingham a try!

Great, caring, attentive staff all around. My pup is a nervous guy but has no issues going to CBW as he is greeted with a staff member that knows his name and eases him away from me. I have been using CBW for many years!

We belong to a camp bow wow in Stuart FL. We were passing through mass and had no other places to board our pup. CBW Bellingham happily took our pup in even though they didn’t have to, and he got great care and had a blast. Thanks so much again!

Great staff, great ownership and great facilities. People like walking into a business where everyone knows their name. Every dog owner loves a walking into a business that knows their dog's name. CBW Bellingham is top notch.

Always take good care of my pup, and she actually likes the place unlike many others. They know who she is as soon as they see her and tell us how good she is! They are extremely responsible with your pup, and that’s all any of us can really ask.

We used camp bow wow in Texas and loved it so when we moved to Boston it was an easy first choice. I was hopeful they wouldn't require an interview as a transfer but I'm so glad they did! After our one interview day this place is a hard no for us.1. The place smells horrid! I know it's a dog kennel but I've been to pounds that are cleaner than this.2. We were running late. I knew we'd be late before I left the house so I called and asked if that would mess them up and if we should reschedule. They assured me it was totally fine no worries. When I got there though it was all attitude because I was 15 min. late....3. Our pup was a little nervous going in so I checked on her on the cams.I kid you not there was a lady standing in the middle of the room with a spray bottle. In about 15 sec. time she sprayed 5 dogs. Never a pet or a kindness just squirt squirt squirt. My pup came home soaked. I asked about it and was told it was a safety thing because they can have 150 dogs at one time, but they "try" not to overdo it.... My poor girl was out of sorts the rest of the day from a 2 hr visit.I'm not a dog person, this is my husband's and kids dog but I'm not cruel either.

We just brought our dogs in for an interview, as we're transferring from another location after moving out of that area. We have used three other Camp Bow Wow locations and had great experiences. It is why we opted to try the Bellingham location though it is not very convenient for us (40 minute drive). The drive was worth knowing they would be somewhere they were comfortable with.We couldn't have been more wrong. They took our two dogs back to the play area and slowly started letting other dogs into that room. Everything was fine. They ran around and played with the others, no problem. Then, they let a large golden retriever into the room, who immediately fixated on one of our dogs who is less than half the golden's weight/size. It started jumping on our dog and would not leave him alone. As we watched on the cameras in the lobby, our dog tried wriggling to get the golden off of him, and barking to express fear. He ran to the other side of the room a few times but any time he came back to the area where all the dogs were, the golden would start jumping on him and lunging. Our dog did bark at that point and immediately was sprayed in the face over and over with a water bottle by the handler. Our dogs were in the room with this golden for less than 2 minutes. At no point did they try removing the golden to see if it would improve how nervous our dog was. They just removed ours. They came out and told us that our dog was "being loud" (if barking is a crime, then every other dog should be disallowed as well), and growling (wouldn't you, being crushed and lunged at?), and being "snippy" which we absolutely did not see on the camera. They told us we should try another day (after we'd driven 40 minutes and been given less than 10 minutes total, 8 of which were totally uneventful, 2 of which our dog was being jumped on repeatedly by a dog twice his size). The option to wait a few minutes or try again without the golden in the room we're never offered.I took our dogs out to the car and my husband went back to discuss with the staff. They pulled the video back up, which revealed the repeated spraying in the face of our dog by the handler, the other dog being extremely hyper and jumping, and our dog barking and running away. The staff member playing back the video said "well we know Trevor (golden) is a little crazy." So you admit that this dog is the overactive one!The most frustrating thing is that the Camp Bow Wow locations apparently don't communicate with each other, so four years of history at multiple locations with zero incidents means nothing when transferring to a new location. But now I feel like our dog has been given a scarlet letter by the staff who made snap judgements and did nothing to help him when he was clearly scared of a much larger dog. Will absolutely not be back. Don't waste your time here. If you have a small dog, better hope they're okay being trampled on and don't show the even the slightest sign of distress, or they'll be black listed too.
