“This past weekend marked the sixth time in nine years that I’ve taken one of my cars to Native Auto. Since I don't know much about cars, I'm at the mercy of the shop owner or mechanic to diagnose issues and recommend solutions. I try to look up the problems on YouTube to understand them better, but that's the extent of my knowledge.
Freddy, the owner, and his mechanics have never steered me wrong. They explain everything clearly, never oversell, always deliver quality work, and their prices are fair or even below market rates.
1. When I had a radiator leak, Freddy took the time to show me what was wrong, gave me the part number to order on Amazon, and suggested I fix it myself to save $200.
2. The dealer told me I needed an entirely new muffler system for $1,400. Native Auto patched it up with a small weld, costing me less than $300, and it lasted five years until I traded the car in.
3. During an inspection, the dealer said I needed a new oil pan, left and right lower arm controls, and left and right sway bars, totaling $6,230. Native Auto put the car on the lift, inspected it, and found it only needed a loose bolt tightened on the oil pan and replacement of the sway bars, costing me $210.
Their level of honesty and customer care is unheard of in this business, and I will never take my vehicles anywhere else.
