For people feeling bad that they need medical equipment these men who work there are not friendly and arrogant. They act like we are bothering them. They never say hello. I have bought so much stuff over the years for family members and I wish there had been another place closer. Today I tried to return support stocking that had to be miss marked because they were way too small. I brought in a pair that I bought there which is exactly what the box says and you can definitely tell it’s not the right size. They wouldn’t return it cause I had put it on. $40 down the drain. He said they will stretch annd the ones I have are probably old and stretched out. I WILL NEVER GO IN THAT PLACE AGAIN!!!

I found the person who waited on me in the am and pm of same day for a knee brace not rude....just disinterested. I got better attention and suggestions from the pharmacist at CVS in the middle of a busy day!

Absolutely fantastic. I drove over an hour to see the shop. Their one of the only stores with scooters to try out and purchase. I test rode 8 scooters before making my selection. I am 100% satisfied with my choice and this store. I will be back. I highly recommend it!!!!

In the past they’ve been very helpful with canes and the bottom of canes. Today I was going to buy two items that amount to over $125 but have to be measured exactly because they’re not returnable if they didn’t work. The man on the phone was extremely rude to someone he clearly knew was temporarily sick and I could hear him say nasty things to his colleague about me. I will not buy from them, and would rather just not get the items at all or go through Amazon. Rude is not acceptable when someone is sick.

Terrible customer service. Was rude and incapable of helping me choose between expensive medical equipment that comes in two sizes and is not returnable for a total of $130, before my husband would pick up the equipment. I overheard salesman saying rude things about me when he was in the process of hanging up but hadn't disconnected yet. I had been a customer for 30 years. I looked up one item on Amazon which easily explained the difference between the two sizes, which Belmont Medical couldn't do. Theater Pharmacy provided the two pieces of medical equipment for $55 in full vs $130 & excellent customer service. I will never go to Belmont Medical ever again & recommend others avoid this rude facility as well.

I think it is important to support small businesses. I knew that Belmont Medical Supply has been in business a very long time and thought that it would be a good place to look for my medical supply needs for my upcoming hip replacement operation. I learned that it has been a family business since 1936. First starting out as a pharmacy and then adding medical supplies to its business in the mid-50’s and then at some point just concentrating on medical supplies. That is about 75 years of medical supply knowledge, and you can’t get that on the internet! I initially was helped by the owner Bob Rosen, and he listened attentively to my concerns, answered all my questions, and then made thoughtful suggestions. My needs were concentrated on gadgets and things that would come in handy and make me more comfortable after surgery. Bob’s wealth of information and patience was very much appreciated. He focused on my medical needs and did not try to upsell me, only suggesting what he thought would be very useful to me. And Bob was right! I had a wonderful first experience at Belmont Medical Supply. It was very much worth the investment in time to go there because what they know isn’t something you can readily learn online and the personal help I got was priceless! In short, I was very happy with my experience and recommend Belmont Medical Supply highly and without reservation.

Poor customer service, poor attitude, not helpful at all. Unfortunately I'm in a situation where I can't stop dealing with them without a lot of inconvenience to my loved one, but it's not too late for you. Stay away. I think my grandparents knew these people a long time ago, that's why I chose them. It's sad what's happened to the business.

I love this place! I've had two great experiences there now. One was buying a new rollator walker for my mom and the other was buying a new transport wheelchair for my dad. Each time, I walked in and was greeted immediately by a friendly, knowledgeable employee. I showed him what my parents already had and told him that I wanted as close a match as possible to it. Both times they had almost an exact match, except that what they had in stock was actually even slightly better than what my parents had previously been using. I found the prices totally reasonable as well, and so did my parents, who were paying me back for it. As a 55-year-old, I remember what great in-person retail shopping used to be like before the internet existed. This place is like that, which is especially nice for something like walkers and wheelchairs, where I want to see exactly what I'm getting before I commit to it.

Have purchased a transport wheelchair and walker recently! Both to have when needed. They were very helpful with my purchases and went over how best to use for added mobility.

I rented a wheelchair for my mother who was visiting town. The process was easy, friendly service, quality wheelchair and easy return. Would use again. Thank you.

In a pinch, this is where you have to go. The selection is large. You will very likely find what you need, and if it is small potatoes, it could be no problem. There are two main drawbacks. First, because it is a medical supply store, everyone has a story to tell: "I'm buying this because my mom had a huge stroke, etc." They are incredibly cold and refuse to engage with any words of sympathy or suggestions about better products. I rented a transfer wheelchair, and the first one retrieved from the back was covered, covered in grit and grime from a previous user. When I asked whether there was a cleaner one available, there was eye rolling but another unit was found. Another time, I asked for an air cushion for a wheelchair, to be informed that they were out of stock. I walked over to the cushion area to try and find a backup, and found the air cushion I wanted. No apologies provided, or "oh! would you look at that. I'm sorry, I mis-spoke." Second, the prices are absolutely outrageous. I purchased a transfer handle -- a large piece of wood that fits in between mattresses in order to provide an anchor for a metal handle that sticks up 90 degrees. I believe I paid $120 to carry out. My parents just bought a second -- shipping included -- to California -- for $69. Another example -- their Rental power wheelchair was $400 + $75 delivery for a month (also filthy). In California: $250 + $35 delivery for a month.

I have always found the staff knowledgeable and accommodating. Today when I purchased compression socks, the gentleman provided a detailed tutorial and was pleasant throughout. I remain bewildered by some of these negative reviews. I remain a happy customer.
