“I’ve been bringing my dogs to JP Animal Clinic for almost 3 years, and I’m only leaving because I’m moving away.
Every vet - Dr. Levine, Dr. Marks, and Carter - we’ve seen has been incredibly knowledgeable and great. This practice does not push unnecessary tests or treatments. The docs will walk me through their thought process and always present options, walking me through decisions in a way that feels collaborative and supportive. They’ve helped us through everything from smaller issues like fleas and post-flea dermatitis to much more serious diagnoses like mast cell tumor and Cushing’s disease. The wait for appointments, diagnostic testing, and surgery is not long. They’ve also gone out of their way to help me find the most cost-effective ways to get my dog a particularly expensive medication. Through it all, I’ve felt confident that my dogs were receiving excellent evidence-based care.
Most importantly, when my dogs walk in, everyone knows them and is genuinely excited to see them. That kind of warmth and familiarity means so much.
The only real downside is parking — it can be a bit tricky in JP— but it’s absolutely worth it for the quality of care.

It's honestly surprising that this place is not super expensive because of the level of personal care you receive. I wish my doctor was like this!”
“This Veterinary center was very accommodating, clean, professional, well mannered and empathetic. We recently visited the vet and had to hear some tough news. They aren’t just about making a bunch of money or a profit taking advantage of their customer base. They were very understanding and extremely accommodating. The staff was professional and personable. The doctor was experienced and very knowledgeable. They even followed up after with a written summary of our appt and prepared thoroughly reviewing our dogs history before we met. I am extremely satisfied with the thoroughness and the time the doctor spent with us and didn’t feel rushed at all. We just recently moved to MA from CA and will definitely plan for all our pet care here to be at Highland Animal Hospital and provide a shining recommendation.”

“Weston Veterinary Clinic consistently gives exceptional care! The office and support staff are always friendly, responsive, and incredibly helpful. Although the practice is very busy, the office is peaceful and very clean.
I can't say enough about the quality of the veterinarians, in particular, my dog's vet, Dr. Storey! Dr. Storey is extremely knowledgeable, calm, reassuring, and compassionate, and he always explains what he is thinking and what is going on with my pet. I trust Dr. Storey completely! I feel very fortunate to be part of this practice!”
“We are deeply grateful to VCA City Cats Hospital, especially Dr. Palopoli, for the exceptional care they provided to our beloved cat, Meatloaf. Dr. Palopoli is an outstanding vet — incredibly smart, attentive, and deeply compassionate. She has a fantastic bedside manner and truly knows her stuff.
In Meatloaf’s final appointments, she made sure he was comfortable and cared for every step of the way. When the time came to say goodbye due to his age, Dr. Palopoli guided us through the process with so much empathy. She explained everything ahead of time so there were no surprises, and gave us the time and space we needed to be with him. Afterward, she even sent a personalized card that meant so much to us during such a difficult moment.
The rest of the staff was also excellent — always professional, kind, and respectful in every appointment we had. I wish I remembered everyone's names because they all deserve credit for the thoughtful and skilled care they provide.

“We saw Dr. McEwan today after moving to Massachusetts from California, and wow. I've never had a vet be so thorough, thoughtful, and informative.
After reviewing our 5-month old pup's records with me, Dr. McEwan spent a solid 10-15 minutes answering questions and giving me breed-specific training advice. For example, when doodles grow up, they often hate getting their paws touched, so Dr. McEwan explained how to desensitize/train our labradoodle for nail cutting.
Truly above and beyond care, and our pup had a great time at the vet.

Everyone we have interacted with at South Bay, from vets to techs, has been so helpful and knowledgeable regarding our puppy, particularly around her recent spay surgery.
