We were in a pinch because my son had booked another hotel in the area for a week stay in order to get his service dog. That hotel wouldn't let him check in because he was 20 not 21.We called the Inn and inquired about a 20 year old checking in and with a service dog. John who picked up the phone we was extremely accommodating. After the stressful previous 30 minutes it was so welcome. My son said when he got there the woman at the front desk was also super kind and helpful. So thank you for your kindness and help!

Stayed here on my wedding night. We were their first customer when they opened in 1984. I still can't get over how rude and unaccomodating the owner was. I asked if they could put a bottle of champagne in the room and he refused.

I didn't stay, just provided transportation. I heard that the place is nice.

Don't bother calling the after hours phone number. No one will answer and the answering machine is full.

I was disappointed that they served breakfast on certain days. But if you look on the website, it states "Winter Off Season is November 1 - April 1Continental breakfasts will not be available in the off season.A very special Thank-You to all who stayed with us during the 2022 season!". It was an inconvenience to go somewhere for breakfast. Other than that I enjoyed my stay there.

The duvet wasn’t clean. Room looked a lot better online than it really was (it was pretty small). The staff wasn’t very helpful and it felt like checking us in was an annoyance. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone but it wasn’t too expensive and wasn’t a horrible

We stayed for three nights this past weekend and had a great time. The owner was very attentive, full of helpful information and really friendly (thank you, Cliff!). The property is quiet, even though it's right next to the highway... you would never know it! The rooms are spacious and the beds very comfortable. We had a large picture window looking out at the trees. The grounds are beautifully kept. You can tell that this place is very well cared for.

We just spent the night and loved it! Manager/owner was very friendly and available and helpful, the whole place was spotless and well cared for, the beds were very comfortable and the towels and linens were nice. It was quiet and had a real window that opened! Breakfast was good. There are plenty of places to hang out outside when the weather is nicer, the grounds are lovingly cared for and the room was equipped with everything you could need. I highly recommend this Inn.

The hotel is in a very convenient location and is very quiet. We liked the setup and outdoor decor. The room was nice but we found a hair in the bed, shower and on the toilet. There was also a spider in the bed our first night there. When I called the front desk they sent someone up immediately to clean but unfortunately even after the room was cleaned again the hair was still in the shower. We found numerous ants on the bathroom sink and the walls by the bed. If we didn’t encounter the bug issue we would have definitely recommended and stayed here again. In response to your comment below we arrived at 9pm the first night and I called you first thing the next morning since you told me when we checked in you were closing up for the night and when the housekeeper came to the room after I called you I told her we had a major ant issue, so I did notify as soon as she got there. But since the hair issue wasn’t resolved after she came, there were actually more after she came to rectify the issue I held little hopeof the bug issue being corrected. I left out of my review the spiders in the bed because I understand things happen but that many ants and hairs are indicative of a cleaning issue. I wrote the review so others are not mislead as I was by the glowing reviews of cleanliness. And when I brought it to your attention again this morning you laughed and made a joke about it.

I have so many great things to say about our stay at this quaint little inn! I had 2 separate family groups converging into New England for a family get together. I was having difficulty find a place for the night and was referred to these folks at The Inn at Crumpin Fox. Not only were they able to accommodate us, not they went so far as to accommodate my mother and brother who were traveling separately. My mother and brother had reservations at another motel, and it was quite subpar. I explained to the owner that my mother was unaware that we were coming into town and that we would be surprising her, and he was kind enough to put us in adjoining rooms. The rooms were spacious, very clean and the views were very peaceful. the courtyard was a great little oasis of flowers and relaxing chairs and very well appointed. In the morning, there was a great little breakfast set up that would cover everyone. from fresh fruit, to cereals, pancakes and the like.We were given a dinner recommendation for the local golf club, and it was great as well. Live music, great food, and the atmosphere overlooking the course was wonderful.I would recommend this place to all my friends and family and look forward to being able to visit with them again!

Its sooo cute! We were so excited to stay! A beautiful view from our window! The whole place is just adorable. Then we pulled down the sheets to find a bed bug. Than found another one on the other bed.... beware! We practically ran out! The attendant was very apologetic and did refund our stay.UPDATE!Because I have had over 1.5 million views of my reviews I take it very seriously. We just got off the phone with the owner and he said the bugs in our bed were not in fact bed bugs. For me any bug in my bed is not ok unless I'm in a tent. I do also want to add that the owner offered no apology, sensitivity or regret that we had a room with bugs. I pointed this out when he allowed me to talk, and added that had he approached the conversation with humility and concern for us as his customer it would have had a different outcome. He chose not to. Businesses fail when the reputation of a business is more important than the experience of a customer. I respect my fellow consumers and have to say my experience was not a good one.

I pulled off 91-N on the way to NH and feeling too tired to drive safely..an unplanned stop, and am glad I did. This is a wonderful country Inn..and the quietest sleep on the road I have ever had. Friendly and helpful staff and the view from my well appointed room looks right out to forest. There is a nice courtyard with tables and aGazebo..real country charm. Families, especially, should stay here..a feeling of comfort and safety...heading back North to NH, but I hope to stay here again when in the area.

This place was great! Cute, clean and everything you need. I stayed one night and didn’t explore but the patio in the middle was pleasant to look at and it looked like a great place to hang out. Every interaction I had with staff was great - even when I woke them up at midnight because I forgot my key! - oops! The inn keeper was great and didn’t make me feel bad about it at all. The breakfast spread was nice too. I’d stay here again!
