Karen Smith at Calico Corner in Beverly, MA was tremendous. I had curtains from our previous home that she had shorten and also made new Roman shades to match. She and her curtain hanger were fabulous, they knew just how to measure, design and hang. I would definitely recommend them.Service: Refurbishment

In consideration of COVID shut down, all bets were off re: proposal follow up, numerous calls not returned- very good experience prior to March, excellent in person support/ rapport. Post opening by appointment experience difficult, rude, patronizing, condescending and insulting. Ill equipped individual for role.Too many other options to put up with this level of poor service.Diane

Poor service and follow up. Was told material for drapes and trim would take one week. That passed and was at the end of week two when I tried to find out where the material was. After three days they found out the material and trim had not been shipped. Was told the two orders would be shipped overnight- never happened. They shipped it two days delivery. Was trying to have drapes made for a social event at my house! Store manager was going to try and get a partial refund— still have not heard back from her.

Calico did a beautiful job on my Roman shades. The organization of their fabric samples makes it so easy to choose potential fabrics - and then borrow them to try in your own home. Once I made my selection, the sales process was unhurried and pressure-free and the sales people were knowledgeable and helpful. They sent their representative, Ken, out to measure (which I needed) and once the shades came in, Ken did an impeccable installation. If you're looking for cheap, Calico is not the place for you, but if you're looking for window treatments that are way above average, Calico is your go-to!

I visited Calico Corners because i wanted to purchase two drapery traverse rods and finials. It was the first store i went to and I was all set to move forward with the transaction until the installation charge was calculated. Installation was over $300.00 which I thought was excessive and exorbitant!!! I went to two other reputable local merchants, purchased from one, and in both cases the install charge was under 100.00. I contacted the Calico Corners website, inquired about the install fee, and have yet to get a response even though the site says a response in approx 24 hours. Still waiting!!!!!!!

I had a great experience at Calico Corners in Beverly with Ann. She helped me all the way thru. It's hard to pick for multiple rooms but Ann made the process easy. She wasn't pushy and was very patient. Everything came out beautiful, I did kitchen, dining room & living room.
