This garage was great a few years back. I used to get all my work done here and it was fast, affordable, and the guy running the shop was always honest about the work I needed. At some point it changed hands and the experience is completely different. There have been multiple instances where they “couldn’t” do work on my jeep and would lie about why. It started 2 yrs ago during an inspection. They had trouble finding the input to plug in the car and were wicked rude about it. I showed them where it was and they got it done, though the attitude was unnecessary. Then at one point I wanted to get my tires rotated. Basic service. The guy Francisco made up some bs line that I needed to bring a specialty tire iron because he didn't have one that fit my wheels. Ok. I don’t have one, you’re the mechanic. And the guy who used to run the shop originally put them on. So off to town fair I went. He was rude to me and my husband separately about it so we stopped going there at all. Fast forward, time has passed, I need an inspection. I leave it and come back. No inspection done. The guy (not Francisco this time, though he was there and no doubt was involved) is immediately giving me an attitude and saying that theirs something wrong with my bin and to call my insurance. He’s rude, borderline raising his voice. I’m like I don’t know what you’re even saying. And he’s not interested in explaining. I take it somewhere else the next day. All it was was that these guys couldn’t find the input AGAIN. And instead of asking me they cop an attitude, say my vin is wrong and to call my insurance. Like what are you even talking about? Just don’t go here. They’re lazy, incompetent and rude.

They took us in last minute for a wiper alignment. Amazing customer service. Wish they were closer to home.

Beware. Do not deal with these people. Multiple bad experiences with them. The guy at the front desk with the headphones and bad attitude needs to be fired.

Love them here. Always fairly priced and quick. Even stores my jeep for a week after work was done when I was out of town. They also saved me HUNDREDS from the awful excuse for a man who owns Beverly Tire and Gas who refuses to plug a whole innth3ce terbof my tire from a nail and proceeded to scrape and smash a $500 boomerang tire cover and destroy Xmas presents in the trunk while doing so. The guys at 5 stat patched it for $35 and fixed the bent latch on my tires covered, reinstalled it for free in 15 minutes. The owner inquired about buying my jeep from me for his daughter and was in no way pushy. If I was ready to sell at the time, it would've been a great suggestion! Plus, their gas is cheap and always have lovely service attendents. Super convenient. I'll never go anywhere else on the North Shore.

Beware of cash gas prices. I have no proof because I wasn't watching but I know they shorted me. I've been buying gas for 35 years. I know what the gauge looks like and watch the prices. Went to another gas station the following week with same gas prices to check my suspicion and was correct. Even though I drive by here everyday I will never return.

I've been using Nahed's 5 Star garage for almost 7 yrs and in all that time he's always been courteous, friendly and fair. This goes for Francisco as well. I have had no complaints for any work that's ever been done. I'm quoted a price, its explained in detail, and I'm kept posted, no surprises. Whether the job is small or big, he is fair with his prices and accommodating to my needs.
The rest of his staff, friendly. His gas prices are also better than most. Anyone can have a bad day, but dealing with the public is tough, never know what you're going to get. His place is always busy, and many are loyal returning customers. Speaks volumes!

The folks at Five Star are great! They go out of their way to quickly repair your car and work to find solutions that match your budget. As someone without much car knowledge, I’ve found I can absolutely trust their judgement and expertise.

Nahed is a patient and trustworthy man. Labor costs are fair, and they do a steady business with return customers and word-of-mouth recommendations. You can feel safe leaving your vehicle with these guys.

Very accommodating. They did repairs on my car without an appointment. Guys are all friendly. Reasonable on pricing. Also do inspection stickers.

This is the second time I have come to this station for somewhat of an emergency. On both occasions, they appear to bend over backwards to do what is needed immediately. On my way to a service this morning and they took me in right away to help me. Great people!
