so disappointed. vidalia’s used to be a favorite. the utopia (hummus veggie) wrap was a dream. the utopia wrap i got today was just awful - it was mostly wet iceberg lettuce with a glob of hummus. no sprouts, cucumbers or anything else it’s stated to come with. there were two huge chunks of red onion with the skin still on. and also huge pieces of celery??? such a waste of a trip, money and time. (see photos for how wrap used to come and what they’re serving now…)

Very rude workers. We walked in at 3:45 when it closes at 4:00 wanting a grilled cheese. The guy was wrapping up the food and said "I'm not making anymore sandwiches,". Not very pleasant, nor professional. We are new to the area and it was our first stop after a long drive. Not so welcoming.

So many yummy foods at Vidalias. Love how you can pick up a dinner and heat it up at home or pick up fresh produce as well as some of the best sandwiches anywhere

Mimi the owner is also in the catering business. Buyer beware. I ordered food for my daughter's baby shower for 30 people since she liked their sandwiches. We ordered sandwiches salads and a charcuterie board without obtaining a quote and it worked out to be $33 a person. The sandwiches were not of the same quality that you get when ordering them at the store - the salads were simple and nothing gourmet - charcuterie board was eight dollars a person - it was a complete rip off of the century. Would not recommend Mimi for any catering event.

Wow! What a quaint, wonderful place! We had coffee and a breakfast sandwich while sitting outside. Both yummy! A great and charming vibe in Beverly Farms! The salmon and prepared foods looked delicious, the wide range of fresh produce, breads, pastry and raviolis/pastas so enticing! A great display of pumpkins from a local farm outside too. The owner and staff incredibly friendly and welcoming! We love to visit and support local businesses and will return next weekend!

Unfortunately, I find myself leaving reviews only when I have very negative or poor experiences. I'm going to change that and start leaving positive reviews when I have positive experiences which is very often! However, today I walked into Vidalia's Market in Beverly and had a poor experience. I live in the area and had never stopped in so I decided to swing by and get an afternoon coffee and some snacks for the kids. From what I have heard they have a great selection of breads and cookies as well as a great selection of fruit. All seem to be true so if you're looking purely for product then this might be a good place. When I walked in the person attending the store was helping another customer. Another employee was just walking around moving things around. I stood patiently near the checkout with my items and was not even greeted or told "i will be with you as soon as I'm finished with this customer".... it was like I was invisible. After waiting patiently and the customer in front of me being rung up, the woman realized that she had forgotten her wallet and went back to the car to get it. The person attending the cash register simply rang my items up without saying anything and didn't even ask me if there was anything else. No problem I just assumed this person wasn't the friendliest and that's OK. I then asked if she had any fresh coffee of which she answered the question with a beleaguered uh-huh. The whole time not even making eye contact. You may say that I am being petty but, I expect this level of service at Starbucks or at the Stop & Shop. But when you go into a friendly town market you would think that they care about you as an individual. Honestly, I do get better attention at my local Starbucks and Jill at the Stop & Shop seems to always have a smile on her face and remembers me even though I'm only there every couple of weeks. Cute and cozy and small town New Englandish, with some fresh goods and fresh coffee may seem wonderful but not much beats a warm smile and a friendly hello with some caring customer service! Apparently not at Vidalia's Market!
