Third time is a charm! After going to our local Walgreens in Exeter, NH that closed before its posted time and then called the 24-hour Walgreens in Rochester, NH that told us they were too busy and couldn't get my prescription filled until 10 am the next day, we called this pharmacy that stays open until 10 pm. I explained to Lily I needed this nausea prescription filled as I had my first infusion of chemo. I am treated at Dana Farber in Boston. She said, "No problem. What time can he get here?" "45 minutes?" She said, "It will be ready." Thank you for your service.

Be patient when trying to reach the pharmacy as they are extremely busy. BUT they are so helpful, kind, and empathetic. Thank you Pharmacy Staff!

This place is usually so so but yesterday takes the cake in bad experiences! I was shopping and noticed the sweetest little boy 5-6 years old with mom close in hand shopping looking at toys. The boy picked up a stuffed animal to show to mom looking for approval to get and out of no where the older lady working grabbed the toy from his hands and told him not to touch anything! I absolutely couldn’t believe my eyes! Mom didn’t quite catch it at first. We continue down the toy aisle and he then picks up a Mickey Mouse plush and was so happy about it and starts to walk close to mom ..she was 3 steps away looking at another toy for him and yet again this grown women aggressively pulls the Mikey out of his hands and yells in his face to not touch anything! This was unnecessary and cruel! Mom stepped in and I took her number knowing I was going to report this. This is unacceptable! An other employee stepped in and was very kind. Janaya is sweet!

The pharmacy is absolutely horrible. I called and waited for 45 minutes listening to the same repetitive recording. Then someone picked up and put me on hold again. Another 30 minutes. The person on the other end of the phone could not have been more rude. It was like I was bothering her. Heavy sigh after heavy sigh. In the end I got nothing out of that attempt. I ended up driving to the store and had a similar experience except not listening to a recording just the incessant whining from the staff. Horrible, horrible, horrible!

This past weekend I spent the afternoon in the ER with a family member and the attending physician prescribed 2 medications through our local Walgreens on Elliott St. I arrived at the pharmacy shortly after closing. Pam, a pharmacist, and Kelvin at the checkout went above and beyond to meet our needs.

The pharmacy is seriously understaffed, to the point where driving to the store to ask the pharmacy staff a question would make sense, except they are too busy even when you're in the store. You can hear the phone in the pharmacy ringing continuously and constantly but you never hear anyone pick it up. On more than 1 occasio, I went to pick up a prescription and the price was so high (in the hundreds of dollars) that I knew that it couldn't possibly be right so I asked if they applied either my insurance or Medicare (I have both) and they insisted that they had but when I called Medicare, they told me that no one had "run the prescription through." So back I went to the pharmacy and insisted that they "run" the RX through and miraculously (sarcasm) the correct price appeared. I spend more time on trying to get my meds refilled than I do on anything else in my life. It does not and should not be this bad.
