I used to love this place and thought it was the best nail salon in Billerica. Super sweet people. I don't know what changed, maybe staffing issues but I have gone 3 times in the past two months during their open hours, and despite having a sign that says \\\"Walk-ins Welcome\\\", no one was there. Doors locked, lights off, no one answered the phone. I finally got ahold of someone on the phone and made an appt for 3pm for a fill on my acrylics. Got there at 3 and there was 1 nail tech, not even half way done with the person in her chair. I waited 45 minutes because I was there already and didn't want to go somewhere else. Finally she gets to me, and was confused what a \\\"fill\\\" was. I explained the best I could and she seemed to remember. She filed my nails down and then took out Dip powder. I reminded her that I had acrylics on, and she said \\\"we don't do acrylics here, the chemicals are bad for us to breathe in\\\". I understand that some places don't anymore, but why wouldn't you say that when I booked the appointment?!! She then proceeds to fill in my nails with dip powder, and it came out HORRIBLE. I've never seen a manicure like this before. She gave me a discount for having to wait but didn't seem to think anything was wrong with my nails. She said she was \\\"filling in for a friend that called out\\\" so I don't know if she regularly works there. I don't know what is going on there but I can't waste 3 hours for this quality again.

Place is nice and clean. I did it with Ann and i felt it was kind a rushed to finish it. Last time i did it with Elizabeth. She really takes the time to do everything without rush. And does a good job. Would go back only with Elizabeth next time

Was able to get an appointment the day of which was nice. Staff was very friendly. However, we have had these nails for a week and they have already fallen apart which has never happened in the two years we've been getting dip powder nails. The lady who did my nails, though she was very nice, messed up my thumb. I went in with my thumb nail broken and asked for a tip. In the picture, she shorter nail is the one with the tip, she basically cut it all off. Another customer on yelp paid $35 for dip the week before we went, we were charged $40 so the pricing wasn't consistent. Kind of a joke to pay $40 for nails (and then add on tip) only for them to be broken a week later.

I went here for the first time a few weeks ago. It's a great place to go. I got a dip manicure ($35) and a color change on my toes ($12). They were nice, attentive and did a great job!

I have been with Luxe Nails since they have opened. All the technicians are great! The place is clean and welcoming. They really go out of their way to make sure you get what you want and are satisfied with the results. I have recommended Luxe Nail to all my friends and will continue to do so. I give them 5 stars!!

Stay away or you could be subjecting yourself to a blood-borne pathogen at this place!!! I went in for a manicure and pedicure there for the first and last time this week. Stay away or you could be subjecting yourself to a blood-borne pathogen at this place!!! I went in for a manicure and pedicure there for the first and last time this week. I had a pedicure which was not great by any means and I should have left after that. While painting my nails, the nail tech got gel polish on my skin. I pointed it out and she was trying to fix it by cutting it with the cuticle cutter. She ended up cutting my skin and my finger bleeding on the side of the nail. I get accidents happen but it was how it was handled which was unacceptable. I pointed it out to her as she was dipping the brush back in to the bottle. She proceeded to tell me it was fine and reached for my hand to put polish on it. I told her that it was not fine and that she was going to contaminate the bottle with my blood. She grabbed a dry tissue and dabbed the blood which was now running down my finger. Of course, the blood immediately started pooling at my nails edge without proper treatment. Again, she reached for the bottle to apply a 2nd coat over my nail which had blood on the actual nail itself. I told her that she needed alcohol to clean it and use liquid Styptic. She said she didn't have that. The owner who was painting another clients nails right next to us finally chimed in and said she would take over. At this point all I could think was how many times had a similar situation happened and how many bottles were contaminated with blood. I told them I was done and left 1/2 way through my manicure and had her remove the smudged polish from my feet. I went to the register assuming she would expect me to pay something as she did remove my gel and give me a pedicure. She wanted me to pay full price with my nails 1/2 down and no paint on my toes. She couldn't understand why I was so upset. After an argument, I agreed on $40 for the service just to get out of there. I should have just left without paying, as I ended up having to go to another salon to have them redone. The Billerica BOH directed me to the Board of Registration of Cosmetology and I have filed a formal complaint with them.
