Schartner Farm is a quintessential New England farm and the perfect corn maze for those looking to get off the beaten path and avoid crowds. The property is a beautiful, modest setting for fall activities with a pumpkin patch and apple orchard. The maze itself is difficult and fun, with a perfect difficulty level and a very clever design. It feels like a legit farm versus a farm Disneyland. The drive to the farm is a pleasant and beautiful route through darling towns, by a vineyard, and past iconic New England scenery and farmland vistas. The farm has a cool beer truck with seating, and visitors can take a beer into the maze. It is a nice little stop, though it doesn't have much else beyond some apple cider donuts and pizza. Overall, it is a great maze for a great price and perfect for enjoying the beauty of autumn.

I chaperoned a group of students on a field trip to Schartner Farm. Many of the students had never been to a farm before. Mr. Schartner himself gave the kids a hayride, and was gracious enough to allow them to go apple picking, even though our school did not pay for this! A wonderful farm with wonderful owners. Amazing dog-friendly maze. It's a good size too! Apple cider and donuts are a must-have!
