I've been tp a lot of hardware stores, but this one really stands out. The staff here are friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to help. whether it's finding the right screw size or giving advice on a DIY project. The store is well organized, clean, and surprisingly well-stocked for its size. Prices are fair, and they often have quality brands you can trust.
I especially appreciate how patient the team is with questions. They never make you feel rushed, even when the store's busy. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers. Overall, a reliable neighborhood spot that deserves its 4.7 rating and then some. Highly recommended for anyone doing home repairs or renovations.

i used to love this place and go all the time but i had a super weird interaction with the staff … super condescending woman working there told me that i was purchasing the wrong tool and kept talking down to me. bought my tool and it worked just as i planned. when i checked out she continued to condescend me for not asking for a student discount, and some cashier guy with a ponytail told me i looked like i have no money. LIKE HELLO?? it was so weird and uncomfortable and i probably won’t be returning anytime soon. the staff used to be so nice, idk what happened… charles street supply get your act together pls

We took a stroll through your store while visiting Boston from Texas! We own West End Hardware Co in Groves TX. The staff was super friendly and made us feel so welcome to browse! Plus thanks for the bottle of water!

What a gem of a store. It has everything you need. The owner was supremely nice, gave us free bottles of water just cause it was hot outside. He procures some of the best local items, I bought a squash scoop made in the state. Lovely treats by the counter. The owner is proud of this shop as he well should be. I left most impressed, you will be too.

I don't usually love the Ace or True hardware store tie ins, often times they can feel a bit genericm but Charles Street Supply is definitely not in that grain. They are super friendly, bend over backwards to help you find what they need, and really feel like a local hardware store in the best way. Chase went above and beyond for me today but other people there have been great in the past as well. 11/10.

I typically love hardware stores in general. For some reason visiting them while in another town is even more interesting to me.
I have never been inspired to actually write a review for one before!
Not only were they so genuinely welcoming and kind, they gifted us a few small mementos!
