These guys are supposed to be open until 11:00, they usually are and list it online as the hours. Doing a job around the corner I made sure to get there before 11, but the door was locked, two guys in there tell me no, sorry. First off it was too late to go elsewhere, 2nd who says NO to a customer? These guys who own every store do, zero customer service and they get worse all the time

Do not recommend this place anymore. Terrible customer service and does not accept some change as a form of payment (requires only paper bills). If you are looking for a 12 pack of something make sure you check the freezer yourself because it isn't always on display and the staff is no help. Terrible knowledge of what kind of wines they sell as well.

This place is the worst. New owners came in, jacked up prices on everything, but can't even seem to stock basic items that any liquor store / convenience store should have. These cheap f!cks can't even stock cans of Coca Cola despite constant questions as to why they never have America's most common soda. The answer? They are cheap a**holes who buy soda from non-authorized dealers.

Be forewarned, they don't climate control store their red wine. Got a very skunked bottle of $20 Cabernet and tried to take it back. The insanely rude lady at the register stated "we don't give refunds or replacements" ( this is after she bothered to look up from her phone). I've been in the neighborhood for quite a while now and I have heard of the same problem from others.

This liquor store is very close to my house so we go there often and we've become friendly with Dave and employee there. He's always happy and giving us recommendations for new beers to try out and so far, he has yet to steer us in the wrong direction. There is an awesome selection of beers and my friends and I all agree that Dave should be given a raise!! :)

Couldn't be happier with finding this gem on the east side of south boston where it is sometimes difficult to find a place offering a nice wine and craft beer selection. Their collection is pretty vast considering the size of the place. Plus everything is set a great price! They also have a nice little selection of gourmet cheeses and dips to indulge in. The owner and everyone else that works here are extremely friendly and knowledgeable about everything. Its finally great to have found a place that I can rely on when seeking a nice beer or bottle of wine for the night!

So close, I don't need a beer fridge. East Side is our go-to. Chat up the crew here - they know their beer. In between the 40s fridge and the pack fridge is a rack of local and specialities that needs your attention, like Brooklyn #2. Wide range of local beers as well as the cheap swill. A good selection of basics if you don't have a chance to hit the supermarket on the weekend. And, if you have a dog, don't feel like you can't go - they have treats behind the counter. Get a scratcher for your pup too.

Oh Eastside Market... what is not to love about you? Any store that specializes in affordable quality wines is a winner in my book, but to emphasize cheap quality wine wins you a super soft spot in my heart (and many dents to my wallet). If the owner (Steve?) is there, you HAVE to talk to him. He can suggest wines based off anything and truly knows what he's talking about. The rest of the staff is friendly, but not quite as knowledgeable. I recommend getting on their email list. Every so often you get discounts on their already cheap wine (last week you could score an $8 bottle at about $6.50). Recently they have started an attempt to have more of a market (aka an additional refrigerator with steak tips, pre-chopped veggies, and cheese). I'd hesitate to buy anything other than chips and soda there, but I will update if I find out otherwise! Until then I will continue to pop in and buy a bottle of wine every time I walk by... it's just too tempting.
