Yuk! I rented a compact car from them in Cleveland for three days and piled on all the fees and insurance I could which totaled $425. I wanted to be sure I had no problem. Now I get a notice from their collection agency EAN that I owe them money! What! after calling and emailing they tell me to ignore that notice. Now I just got another notice from EAN that I owe them money. Do not rent from Alamo!!!!!

ALAMO - a huge DISAPPOINTMENT.Get this:I rented a car for 10 days for $ 645,09. On the tenth day I called Alamo to ask for a 3 day extension. They said the extension is approved with no extra charges. Never received an email confirmation. When I returned the car on the agreed upon date, the total amount to pay was $ 2.938,87 (4,6 times more!!!). A lot of money, right?I've been calling them every week since and they would say: “your case got escalated to corporate management. Wait 48 hours for your refund (of $ 2.293,78).”48 h passed and no refund. The last time I called a week ago and asked to talk to a supervisor, they told me they escalated the case to the highest level possible and that manager will call me back within 24 h. Guess what, never got the call. Are they lying to my face? Is Alamo just a corporate of thieves? I hope not.

Alamo was budget friendly and just aheads up you do have to take the airport shuttle to get to the car rental building. Once you get to the building it shows you where your car rental company is located. Very easy to find, you just have to pay attention you don't miss your stop to get off when the bus driver announces the next stop. The only drawback is depending on when you arrive, there might be a long line and short staff. There was only one lady there attending to each customer so it took abit longer. They were trying to get people in line to use the car rental kiosks available but people were having trouble using them and it seemed it bit difficult and they would just get back in line. Another staff member finally came to help the other lady who was by herself and helped us out. He was very friendly and kind. It was pretty quick. We just had to go upstairs to get our car. We got a silver Nissan Pathfinder. I believe all cars come with a Toll road box. The person who takes you to your car will tell you how it works. It actually comes in handy in the city and highways here. We thought we weren't going to use it but we needed to especially with the traffic during rush hour. It helped out alot. You just flip it down to use it and flip it up not to use it but they'll go over that with you when picking up your car. We enjoyed having the freedom of having a car to go wherever we wanted to. The car seats comfyness was a 5, they were uncomfortable after long road trips on our backs and bums. The niceness was an 8, the gadgets on the car were a bit complex to figure out but we got the hang of it. We did like that the back seat folded down to put my husbands wheelchair and our belongings, a plus on that! We would use them again. As everything went smoothly when dropping off the car and the pricing. We would use Alamo again if renting anywhere else.

Located in a decrepit parking garage currently undergoing work prior to its demolition, leaving the place unsightly and inconvenient to arrive to, especially being on the 9th floor.Besides that, it's a pretty straightforward experience. The car was in good condition, and the pick up process was as usual as any other car rental space, aside from the poor condition of the location. The drop off was a bit delayed due to the workers being unavailable, likely due to having to run from floor to floor.

Weirdest place to rent a car ever. I’m an Alamo loyalist but this was not a good experience. The rental desk is on the 9th floor of a parking garage that is in the process of being demolished. To bring the car back you have to wind around to the 9th floor and then there are no people and no instructions. Do you leave the key? No way to know. Oh and don’t bother trying to switch the drop off to the airport, that will cost an extra $700 plus.

Tecia is an AMAZING associate at the Logan International airport, we were up visiting out of North West Washington, running from the political media mess of Covid-19 & government BS, Tecia was a warm welcome into Boston with an AWESOME GMC, loads of places to go visit, and a place to go eat. We hope to have Tecia as our next associate of Alamo. Thanks again Tecia,we had a GREAT time.Jim & Corrie.

No issues, very quick and easy process. Fantastic for us foreigners who had no idea and appreciated the professionalism of the staff. So much easier than car rentals in the UK! Great job USA and thank you Alamo! Cheers.

The area this Alamo location is in is extremely sketchy. The building is under construction. they are located on level 9 if you’re looking for them. The lady who assisted me was super nice and professional. Poor thing was alone at the counter. My rental experience was dishonest and jeopardized my safety. I didn’t realize my van rental that I was driving across country had break problems. It was making a loud noise whenever they were in use. And I was told the car was serviced and inspected prior to me renting it. I had to fill the tires up which were also low on air. Customer service could care less and I spent a FORTUNE on a vehicle that was terrifying to drive.

Car was clean and ran well. They actually upgraded me to a nicer car for the same price which was really nice. The parking garage was a little confusing but customer service was good!
