They were amazing!! I used them for my bridal shower dress, my reception dress, and my bridesmaids dresses! Brit and Angela were so knowledgeable and made my bridesmaids and I so comfortable they really went above and beyond for us it was such a great experience. The quality of the dresses are amazing they are so beautiful! If you’re looking for bridesmaid dresses or special event dresses you need to go here!

I splurged on a dress for my bridal shower and welcome party, waiting months for it to arrive. After driving an hour to pick it up in Boston, I discovered it had stains.
Panicking, I scrambled around Boston trying to find a replacement, feeling hopeless and heartbroken that I couldn’t wear the dress I had fallen in love with.
If you order from this store, make sure to inspect and try on the dress before taking it home. Such a disappointing experience.

Lackluster experience trying on gowns with the girls but they did have the designer we wanted. Ordered in April for my Sept wedding with an ETA of July. August rolls around and there were office issues that impacted shipping, caused major delays to my girls getting their gowns, no proactive communication - i would have to call multiple times to get to someone, and no real apology or concession. My girls also needed to rush alterations. Overall, my people looked amazing and that’s what matters, pays to be convenient i guess !

Absolutely terrible, do not come here for your wedding or bridesmaid dresses. Dresses barely came in time for wedding, nevermind the fact the measurements were wrong, and their only reply is sorry, no we will fix this, no let me pay for alterations since the mess up is on them. Absolute garbage.
Come here only if you want to be pretentious and tell people your dress came from Newbury St.
You could get better customer service and spend way less at a Davids Bridal.

Thank you @serenaphoto Russell! I am happy to see women set up a platform to fight the injustices Brittan has taken upon herself to damage bridesmaids experiences around the Greater Massachusetts area. I still remember to this day my precious little Saint Sophia receiving here $400 rental I paid for with my Popeyes franchise supervisor salary. It was going to be a big day for her cousins wedding however the dress arrived 2 days before and in the wrong style. I empathize with all the women that have had tarnished wedding experiences at the hands of Brittan. In addition to offering my condolences and bring peace to this world I can offer free spicy chicken sandwiches at the Revere Popeyes on the 4th Wednesday in December this year.

DO NOT SHOP HERE. To quote other reviews, if I could give this zero stars, that would still be too many. I ordered a dress from this Bella Bridesmaid location and the dress arrived with a broken zipper. After a back and forth with Brittan, she agreed to replace the zipper in-house. After coordinating pickup of the dress, she did not show up, and we had to recoordinate. Following this, Bella Bridesmaids “forgot” to ship my dress back to me until I reminded them two weeks before the wedding that I was in. I received the dress 6 days before I was leaving for the event with the replaced zipper. The zipper was replaced so horrifically, there were threads in the dress all pulled loose, and you could see track marks from where the original zipper was. The new zipper also looked like a tail. After three days of back and forth, Brittan offered me a new style dress, that I had never seen or tried on for this wedding, but even with express shipping it would not have made it in time. Eventually, Brittan agreed to a refund in writing over email. She sent me a shipping label and I sent the dress back. Since then (8/26/24) Brittan has ghosted me. She is the head of the store. I have emailed 4 times over the past month and called countless times leaving voicemails. As a bridesmaid who lives in another state- I cannot just show up to the business. Brittan and the employees at her location have ignored everything. This is a repeat problem that others have had. It is grossly unprofessional and unethical. This was a $300 dress. Not only did I have immense stress about finding another dress days before the wedding to match the rest of the wedding party (the poor bride too!) but I am now also out an extra $300 from them taking back the dress and never issuing a refund.

Wish I could give this no stars. We went and all appear to be going well. I was assured that the manager was keeping a mental list of the dresses my bridesmaids liked so I could put my notebook away and enjoy the fitting. As we were heading out the door, they assured myself and my bridesmaids that the measurements they had just taken would be available on our website. They were not. I even had to email to get dresses added to our digital showroom over the next few days. Then they ghosted my bridesmaids and I when it came time for them to order their dresses. We had to go to a different place and order completely different dresses because as it turns out the designer wasn't even producing the colors we had selected and they never should have agreed to the colors we selected (greens.) No responses to multiple emails and phone calls from both my bridesmaids and myself. So much added stress and confusion! Brideside Bridesmaids down the street was so much more professional and had a better selection to boot!

I had an amazing experience with Bella Bridesmaids! Britt and Ang were so easy to work with and really helped me see my vision for a "mix and match" garden wedding vibe. With my bridesmaids being all over the country it was so nice to have Britt and Ang help me play with different colors and fabrics until we found the perfect combo. My bridesmaids were able to visit their local Bella to try on dress options and be measured. Being able to see all the dresses in person really made the whole experience that much better and I would definitely recommend Bella to a friend!

I went there to try bridesmaids dresses and left feeling very self conscious about my body. One of the workers asked me “what size are you?” in front of everyone (this was AFTER taking all of our measurements??). I answered probably a 2 (bc I don’t know). The other worker said “no she’s at least a 6,” and proceeded to read very loudly in front of everyone “she’s a 00 bust, 6 waist, 0 hips”. First of all, WHAT are those proportions how is that real? I never really had shame about my body but this experience did it for me. In the future you should just figure out people’s size for yourself from the measurements (what’s the point in the measurements if you also ask someone’s size?), and not read measurements/sizing out loud like that. If I wanted to know the proportional/mathematical breakdown or every inch of my body, I would go to an ED/body dysmorphia subreddit.I know this exchange was totally not intended to be rude or hurtful, but that’s the effect it had and I thought I should share so you’re aware not to do that in the future. I had such a wonderful experience at Bella Bridesmaids. I told them the designer I wanted to use and they showed me options and colors. They made the process really easy for my bridesmaids. I had 9 bridesmaids all around the country, so having the option to use other store locations was perfect. My bridesmaids looked beautiful!

I live in Boston along with 2 of my bridesmaids, but my sister lives in Chicago. I thought using Bella would be easiest since they had the designer I liked best and locations in both places. When we arrived I was very underwhelmed by the show room. It's in the back of the building and not very nice.None of my bridesmaids are super small (range from size 16-24), but the designer I liked (Amsale) sells up to size 36. I assumed there would be multiple sizes available for them to try on for different styles not only 1 sample size. I realize it's impossible to have every dress in every color/fabric, but they should have a few representative options in a few sizes. Most dresses from the designers we tried only came in size 8, which really didn't work to try on. When my bridesmaids were trying things on, the sales associate did a terrible job of clipping the dresses - they literally used chip clips, unlike nicer elastic clips I saw when trying on wedding dresses elsewhere. She seemed totally clueless to how the dresses should sit on the body (for example, a waist seem was sitting on a bridesmaid's bust, clearly in the wrong place, and she said it fit her well). It kind of felt like a gamble when they were measured and placed the order, as none of us really trusted the sales associate.Also, if all of your bridesmaids aren't at the same location, they'll have to pay $30 in shipping. They said this is due to the locations being franchises, but that's a ton of money for shipping and I don't buy that as a reason to charge them when they could have just sent the dress to each show room.Ultimately my bridesmaids likes their dresses, but that's on Amsale, no help from Bella. At least the dresses came in on time. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for bridesmaids dresses, especially if they aren't a size 4 and if everyone isn't in the same location.

Update: After posting my review, a manager called me and offered to reimburse me for any alterations needed to the dress, and asked that after the reimbursements were made for my review to be adjusted. After being sent the receipt for the many alterations needed on the dress, Bella Bridesmaids asked me to send them the dress so they could have a look at it. I have not heard a word back since and have reached out multiple times. No reimbursement whatsoever, and they stole the dress that I had bought from them. I will continue to be in touch until I am both given my dress back and reimbursed FULLY for every alteration that was needed. Absolutely disgusting service. Original review: The dress I ordered fit TERRIBLY--It was as if they didn't take any of my measurements. They also wouldn't return any of my calls asking about alterations. Luckily I was able to find a tailor in the area (who agreed that the dress was poorly made) to help when Bella Bridesmaids wouldn't.
