I have been working with BFA for over 13 years on my personal taxes and they are the top in professionalism. They have amazing depth in understanding the US tax system, I have finances (somewhat complicated) in two states and they are able to manage and provide me with the best advice. During the year, I will write and ask questions and they respond in a timely manner. After filing they provide suggestions on what I can do for the next year to continue to do the best for me and my earnings.Other than BFA being amazing in what they do, they are good people - sincere and kind. I have referred my friends to them. When "submitting taxes" most people can get anxiety, for me there is none because BFA has shown me year after year they know what they are doing and will do it exceptionally. I will continue to use them for many years to come.

Expensive, dishonest and rude! Services cost well over 3x what other CPAs charge. Jen ignored many of my emails with pertinent information about my out-of-state move and home sale, and cannot be trusted. When it came to filing, she waited until the absolute last minute to tell me a document I submitted was illegible which tailspun into her hurrying to file my returns and then slapping me with an INSANE bill ON TAX DAY. So i had no choice but to sign off out of fear that i would incur late penalties if I didn’t. Extremely shady business practices and owner is beyond rude. The office also wreaks of marijuana.Your hard earned money is not respected here. Go elsewhere.

I would not ever trust my books again to anyone else. Ever. BFA got me out of a dreadful jam from a previous accountant -- that took years to get of...and they did it. Forever grateful to Jen and her team!

Boston Financial Associates is the worst tax perpetration office in Boston. The owner Michael Edwards was caught by the IRS for stealing clients money. I was the person who reported him and Boston Financial Associates! While Michael Edwards is in jail , the office is being run by his assistant Jen. My suggestion would be to find another tax preparer unless you want to be audited by the IRS.
