I was at their pop-up at the Sam Adams Brewery and their prices can’t be beat! The staff are so kind and, I mean, $3 and $5 cassettes? $6 shirts and $12 jeans??? Their selection is amazing and you’ll always find something that piques your interest.

This place is gross, and everything is overpriced, especially the rotting furniture. They will sell something used and disgusting that you could purchase new for 40 at Target, for 35. It smells and it's more like visiting the set of Hoarders in here. But, they're a nonprofit so they can operate in the red all day long and occupy valuable real estate in Boston and they'll be just fine, and JP people will love it. But don't ask me why. Donation location in the back is handy though.

I love this store!!! I stop by more or less weekly, and it's always filled with treasures (the home goods section is unmatched). The staff really couldn't be more wonderful: super friendly, they'll have a conversation with you at the register, and remember you if you visit often. Really fantastic spot!!!!!

Sadly, Boomies has just died an unfortunate death. There is more attention to "playing shop" with renovations and re-merchandising, and as expected, the prices are now absurd. Whoever is running the place now has gone off the rails and lost touch with the very thing that made it great; good stuff cheap. The inventory is thin, lots of broken ridiculously priced...junk. I personally have made great donations by the car load but I never see anything approaching the quality and quantity that I and lots of my friends send their way. Alas, another JP institution dies a slow death on Centre St due to greedy management focused on profitability. Go to Goodwill down the block. They are still in touch.

My daughter just purchased a beautiful coffee table today but we couldn't take right away and we picked it up later today and someone helped us out into my car. The store is wonderful and so is the staff. This was our first time going to this store but we will be back

Hostile, pushy staff. If you miss a sign and drop a donation off in the wrong place, god help you. I can’t remember the last time someone spoke to me in such a rude and condescending manner because of an honest mistake.

Boomerangs was once my favorite thrift store in Boston. Urban Renewals and Savers are my new favorites. Boomerangs is smaller and locally sourced so it's harder for them to have greater inventory. Boomerangs supports a great cause which is why I would frequent them so regularly and why it was once my preferred thrift store. However, their pricing has changed over the years and is not as affordable as it used to be and the selection has changed. I used to leave with bags of stuff, now I leave with only a few items. I love their warehouse sale where they take items from all locations and sell them at a massive discount, but don't remember the last time they had it. Not sure if it's still a thing? I actually won their thrifting challenge on Instagram a few years back. I was so obsessed with them. Boomerangs will always have a special place in this thrifter girl's heart no matter what!! Sorry I don't have better pictures.

The employees tend to be rude and unprofessional. Among other things, I saw one customer ask if he could check out with a specific employee and the employee he asked became offended, passive aggressive and forced him to work with her.

I used to find lots of treasures at this store! They changed the place around and it's more clothing then hard goods! People are looking for home goods and there is so little! Prices are good ! Yet I like the way the sore was before!

Dropped off some donations, then browsed the aisles. Friendly staff, well arranged merch., good prices.
