The person in charge of collecting the animals seems to be collecting garbage regardless of whether they are alive, his attitude is terrible, they should look for TRAINED personnel, not a monster like that character because he should not even be called a person.

South End Yuppie, Tooney, transplants are allowed to meet up in groups and let their dogs run leash free at Blackstone park. I've been fighting for 5 years to get this to stop. Not one ticket has been written, no enforcement whatsoever. Alexis is an incompetent, lying politician who should resign immediately. She has no problem with her staff writing tickets in poor neighborhoods, but allows the South End Pride to operate with immunity. It's the same dogs, and same owners. Not one ticket! Write these frugal squares a ticket, and watch how fast they think twice about doing the same thing, over and over again. Every morning 7:30am-8:30am, it's five to 20 dogs off leash commandeering the park, preventing other dog owners from enjoying a leashed walk through the grass. Then, between 5pm-6:30pm, another group from fb meets up, and it's another ten to twenty dogs taking over the area. Put a stop to this already!

Every interaction I've had has been very pleasant. Their caring professional attitudes always turn an upsetting situation into a hopeful one for me. In a recent case, I found a hurt seagull in Allston. Animal control took max 30 min to get there - during commuting hours and that's including the time it took 3-1-1 to relay the message! I consider that impressive.

I got my Maltese from this shelter 13 years ago. Sidney had been found as a stray. The shelter did a great job neutering him, giving him vaccines, estimating his age, and telling me about some of his unique behaviors. Yesterday I had to make the painful decision to euthanize him because at 15 years of age, he was in pain. When I am ready to adopt again, I will return here.

I so appreciate the care and attention the staff and volunteers invested in the dog I adopted from the Boston Animal Control and Shelter. Bella the pittie mix was in their care for over a month, during which time they treated the multiple serious conditions this abandoned dog came in with, including surgical treatment for a painful eye infection. When I met Bella at the facility, I got to see her interact with several of the caring staff and volunteers: Bella was obviously very comfortable and attached to them all. It was touching to see each person take a private moment to sit on the floor, pet her and say their personal goodbyes. From the copy of the extensive veterinarian medical records I was given, I can see that Bella's vet care was proactive, thorough, expert, and regular. Perhaps most importantly there was evidence that Dr. Walz sought and valued the insights of the staff and volunteers who provided daily and hourly care to Bella. For example, medication was issued for a finite period based on the observations of the attentive staff (hives with which Bella came into the shelter reappeared after she ate a peanut butter treat, then a few minutes later ate a bee in the play yard).Bella and I have now been together for weeks and I am learning more about her behavioral and trust issues from being abandoned that will take us time to heal with patience and training. Realizing this makes me all the more impressed with how comfortable, safe and happy she demonstrated herself to feel when I observed her in the care of the shelter staff and volunteers.

These people are NO HELP AT ALL!!! I made at least 4 reports & they only found 1. Very combative to me. Won't release my reports unless I fill out a form. They make everything difficult, including a phone call. Where do I sign up for this job? Getting paid to do NOTHING! P. S. You're not lawyers, so stop acting like them!
