I have had very flat feet since birth and have always had pain and difficulty walking. To top it off I am diabetic and have resulting neuropathy in my toes. I have used Boston Pedorthic as my main source of shoes and foot support for at least 4 of the last 5 years. They have provided me with an excellent shoe and custom molded inserts of the highest quality. Their products make my feet happier! The staff is very professional and has treated me with great respect. It is a joy to work with them! They have my highest recommendation.

Nothing to show after 3 visits...My mother is an 88 year old who can hardly walk because of a severely disfigured ankle joint. Now, with the condition of her feet progressing, she asked her nurse to schedule an appointment for her to make another pair of boots, as she got a pair a couple years ago for the cost of $222. She recently came to the appointment and in addition to fitting was handed the price of $1,350.01. She was shocked and did not even understand what was happening, as she expected to see a price of 1-3 hundred dollars. How can such a bill be provided without a warning to a hardly walking person AFTER getting her to come?I have paid for this, my mother could not afford it.Next we received a call that the custom shoes are ready. My mother came to the office and the fitting was done: the custom insert was tried to be inserted into multiple pairs of boxed shoes (NOT custom made) and none could fit her feet! After several more weeks she was told that now the shoes and inserts are ready. Two Uber rides and another couple of hours of fitting later - she could not walk in these shoes, the ankle foot support was painful, the orthotics did not fit her her foot or the shoe. The employee of the store told my mother that she is wrong about her own foot - it all fits. She left empty-handed again. After a conversation with the owner, we agreed that everything BUT a custom made orthotic insert ($175) will be returned. Hope this will be the case.

RACIST!!!I am black my grandma is white and when we went in to pay for the shoes prescription in hand they threatened to call the police screaming yes the lady raised her voice about making an appointment. We were there to pay. There was no reason to escalate the situation by threaten to call the police. No one was shouting no was being hurt. Other then my presence why did they escalate to calling the police.

Came here to have my moms orthopedic shoes custom fitted for her. From start to finish the specialist, Baker, was incredibly patient and helpful and made the entire process stress free. My mom doesn’t speak English well so he was very understanding and tried to make things easy as possible for her. We look forward to coming here for her future needs.

I have been trying to get my shoes for 5 months. Because the code numbers are off by one number between my podiatrist and my primary care physician, pedorthics will not release my shoes. To say the least it has been a trying time. WHY???? For customer Service...0!!!Zero.

If you are planning to park your car there, find how many parking spaces there are. The parking area may be full or too small for your vehicle. Find an alternate location before hand. In some places parking is available for 30 minutes or so or the parking lot is room for about a dozen cars. Those spaces are quickly taken up. Appointments there may take a few hours depending on what type of shoe you need. The business owner can be very nice to you one day & scream at you the time you go there. They hired a lot of off shore people & some things did not work as expected.

Completely unprofessional. I booked an appointment on line and when I showed up, I was rather rudely informed that I wasn't "in the system" and that the online booking system wasn't "synchronized" with their schedules, which does make one wonder why they have an online scheduling option in the first place. I cleared my schedule for this appointment, drove all the way across town for a scheduled appointment, and no one did anything to help me once I was there. Completely unprofessional - take your business someplace else.

This small orthotics shop treated me unprofessionally and with total rudeness. If client service is important for you in selecting a provider, then avoid this business!

Eric and Elizabeth and the staff are so professional. I have been going to them for about 10 years. Always a good exam and very patient, which I need. and every time I wear their sandals, ppl always ask where I got them. (they are so comfortable, I wear them practically all the time - casual and dressy. I just love them).

I made two trips to Boston from Baltimore to get shoes and orthotics from Boston Pedorthic. I saw what they had done for a friend of mine who had suffered from pain related to his feet for as long as I had known him. He explained Boston Pedorthic's approach - the foot, the orthotic and the shoe all have to work together...you can't use the same orthotic on all shoes...it is best to have an orthotic made specifically for shoes made on the same last. The results have been fantastic. While it may seem a bit expensive at first, I have stopped buying shoes that I then quickly throw out. These guys are great. And they make a special point of opening for me on the weekend when I come (like twice per year). Long way, but it is worth it.

I have been a customer of Boston Pedorthic for more than 5 years now. For years I could not go for long walks as inevitably my back or even worse, my hips would begin to hurt. I stopped playing tennis or engaging in many other activities that I used to love. Orthotics made for me by podiatrists or orthopedic surgeons failed to improve things in any meaningful way. And, I always had to wear ugly shoes. Boston Pedorthic changed all that for me. They say that the best things in life are worth waiting for. And yes, at times I had to wait, either for an appointment or for my shoe/orthotic combinations to be ready. The reason is the unbelievable attention to detail that Eric, Elizabeth and the team lavish on each customer/patient. That is the reason that they get things right. I can't recommend them highly enough.
