I brought my dog to BVC for several years, and many of my experiences were positive. However, the vet did at one point tell me that my dog was all set for tests for the next six months, and when I checked the paperwork he actually needed a test the following month. Another time they told me I owed them money and when I looked at the receipt I had paid it had a different dog’s name on it. This week, they canceled my appointment with less than 24 hours notice and the only time I could reschedule was during my working hours. Since they canceled so late I wish they had made an effort to find a time that worked for me. I had to cancel my dog’s grooming appointment because he’s now out of date with his rabies shot due to the canceled appointment. Unfortunately given how unhelpful they were I had to find a new vet.

This is the best veterinary clinic! I've been taking my dog here for about a year and the staff is always so kind and patient with him!

Easy to schedule appointments and get in to be seen. All the staff were friendly and supportive, especially with my pup, who is wiggly and opinionated. Appreciate their patience and gentleness to make us both feel comfortable.

Whatever you do, DO NOT bring your pet here if you actually care for them. My cat has been coming here for years with a medical issue. This place has done nothing but repeated tests on her that have done nothing but made her sicker or charged us more money.
All they are looking to do here is sell you the products they have displayed in their lobby regardless of what your pet is going through.
It's a scam. These are the last people that should be responsible for animals.

I recently adopted a very scared, nervous 1yo rescue and intended to establish care with BVC. I had our initial appointment moved up to discuss anxiety medication as it is very hard for a dog who is new to the city to avoid triggers like people, cars, and busy streets. Dr. Williams was very patient during our exam, but refused to prescribe medication that would help my dog, and suggested I talk to a behaviorist before we make a decision regarding meds. The IAABC-, CPDT-, and Fear Free-certified behaviorist said it was imperative that my dog be put on an SSRI in order to begin counterconditioning and desensitization, but Dr. Williams again refused to prescribe and has now recommended I go to another animal hospital to manage my dog's anxiety. I'm extremely disappointed in our results and a tad offended that she put so little stock and effort into helping my dog's quality of life.

The whole team was very patient and caring for my dog even though she was difficult for vaccines/handling. They made sure she left on a positive note, giving her a toy to play with :)

Took my cat here for an intake to get him neutered. The staff loved on him the same way that I do and he warmed up immediately to vet tech Ryan and vet Dr. Williams. They were kind, patient, warm, and welcoming. Draco received a clean bill of health while feeling cared for and respected.

I was a client for several years with many of my dogs. I moved. I was in town with my new dog and forgot his prescription dog food. They would not sell me a can of dog food with an out of state vets prescription. I guess helping my current dog not have bloody diarrhea doesn't pay enough.

The best experience ever. I have had to bring my pets there.Service is amazing, doctors and staff that work there are very kind and treat them with love.My dog never eats treats, but one of the vets gave it to him and he was so comfy eating and greeting him. They really care about the pets health not about the money. So compassionate ❤️??Amazing!!!I only have words to say thanks.

Do not take your pet here.We recently took our dog into BVC for his two year checkup. Bloodwork came back heart-worm positive.Dr. Williams said there was NO CHANCE of a false positive result, and refused to answer my partner’s questions after talking to me on the phone for a couple of minutes. We just received terrifying news about our dog and the Dr. can’t call us back to answer questions about next steps, secondary opinions, risks, costs, etc.?We took our dog to another vet, had 4 tests done and they all came back negative. Could not recommend BCV less.

I had a pleasant experience with Boston Vet care. All of them were super professional, helpful and treated my cat with the compassion I was delighted to see.My only suggestion is to advise their new customers that they may confuse Boston vet CARE with a similar clinic nearby and have the address included in the text message reminder. I didn't even realize they were two similar clinics till i went to the wrong location but luckily they were only a few minutes away from each other.

When this place first opened,I was a big fan. Then they seemed to fall apart and get very disorganized. I was also twice given bad referrals for things they couldn't do onsite. One time I was sent out to Acton to get a root canal done on my cat. When I got there, the dentist there said it couldn't be done and she just extracted the tooth. For $1,000. I got referred to another place in Chatlestown for something else, because their relationship with the people who had been doing onsite had fallen apart. That one cost me over $1000 too,for something I was told would cost around $250. When I came in for the last few visits, nobody ever seemed to know why I was there. There seemed not to be communication or professionalism. Their prices were exorbitant, too! I really regret not having switched to my current vet sooner.
