The vets and staff at BVC are knowledgeable and caring. I’ve never had trouble getting an appointment on short notice. Definitely would recommend!

I was a client for several years with many of my dogs. I moved. I was in town with my new dog and forgot his prescription dog food. They would not sell me a can of dog food with an out of state vets prescription. I guess helping my current dog not have bloody diarrhea doesn't pay enough.

The best experience ever. I have had to bring my pets there.Service is amazing, doctors and staff that work there are very kind and treat them with love.My dog never eats treats, but one of the vets gave it to him and he was so comfy eating and greeting him.They really care about the pets health not about the money.So compassionate ❤️??Amazing!!!I only have words to say thanks.

Do not take your pet here.We recently took our dog into BVC for his two year checkup. Bloodwork came back heart-worm positive.Dr. Williams said there was NO CHANCE of a false positive result, and refused to answer my partner’s questions after talking to me on the phone for a couple of minutes. We just received terrifying news about our dog and the Dr. can’t call us back to answer questions about next steps, secondary opinions, risks, costs, etc.?We took our dog to another vet, had 4 tests done and they all came back negative. Could not recommend BCV less.

I had a pleasant experience with Boston Vet care. All of them were super professional, helpful and treated my cat with the compassion I was delighted to see.My only suggestion is to advise their new customers that they may confuse Boston vet CARE with a similar clinic nearby and have the address included in the text message reminder. I didn't even realize they were two similar clinics till i went to the wrong location but luckily they were only a few minutes away from each other.

We bring our cats here. The staff is really friendly and great with the animals. One of our cats is terrified of everything, especially strangers and I was shocked at how great he was with the gentleness of the vet. Highly recommended, even if you have to be on the wait-list.

Incredibly supportive of both adopters _and_ the animals themselves. They also have a friendly veterinarian focused on both caring for the pet and educating the human family. Great tips and advice, highly recommended!

I’ve taken my cat and dog here over the past 10 months. Everyone we’ve interacted with (vets, techs, and general staff) has been friendly and seemed knowledgeable. The standard care they’ve received has been great, and we’ve also been given solid advice on how to handle our dogs arthritis. They’ve been great with the pets, have allowed us to be with them for everything, and given many great recommendations.

Our dog couldn’t be happier here and neither could we! They have thought of every detail to make the experience relaxed and enjoyable. The staff is friendly and accommodating. We have been with Dr. Clay, who is the very best, for over a decade now and know we are getting the best care.

UPDATE**I was contacted regarding my pet and a plan was set in place on what to do for him, which I really appreciated! I felt like my concerns were listened to and I really love the lead vet as she wanted to follow up on my dog’s condition throughout treatment. I understand that times get really busy and those are reasons why I wasn’t contacted asap. It was still disappointing in the moment, but I appreciate being reached out afterwards. I really like this clinic, I feel like calling and trying to get an appointment is easy, my dog is taken cared of, or other options are always listed out for me.I have been going to this clinic for my dog for about some time now and enjoy coming and appreciate all the staff. However, one incident just today made me really frustrated. I called today regarding my dog’s infection that had not been resolved after his course and wanted to follow up and see what we could do, seeing as he is very uncomfortable. I called early in the morning at 9 and hadn’t heard back so I called again at 4:30pm, and the message was not yet relayed back to the vet. I understood as they are busy, and was reassured I would get a call back before they closed. However, I personally came to the clinic as it was close to closing and was told the vet had left for the day, and I had not even gotten a message back before that. This incident is very frustrating and I hope communication improves, as I tried my best to reach out early and throughout the day, with basically no effort to contact back. I still like coming here but this did anger me.

Update: After our previous incident, we continue to have good experiences at BVC. The veterinarians and support staff are wonderful - they are gentle and friendly with our dog and are great at explaining what’s going on and answering any questions. They have great communication and follow up and I’ve been able to reach them for quick questions. Our dog is very comfortable and in fact may even be excited to go in there. I’ve also been able to see the vets on time per appointment schedule in my last few visits, and the front desk staff have been professional.———————————10/2021: We had an appointment for my pet at BVC. During our last appointment, we waited for 35 minutes after the checkin time before I was called in, but I didn’t complain and understood the situation. Today, we got there two minutes after the grace period at 5:12 pm after driving for over an hour in traffic, and they declined to see us and didn’t show any empathy and were very condescending. I expect the BVC front desk and phone staff to show more empathy and understanding. Note to the manager: They should be trained better to treat people with empathy, equity, and respect.
