This bank has no ability to do anything but local banking….meaning just deposit and withdraw money. Period. Any financial transaction beyond this necessitates you actually going into the bank in person. They cannot route any documents or contracts digitally because apparently they are still doing business in the early 2000s. This bank is only an option for someone living down the street and willing to spend their free time at the actual bank. If you need a real bank go to Chase BOA or any other reputable institution.

I have a business and wanted to open an account at this bank , but after hearing the managers snippy attitude to a young man at this bank I left! It's bad enough the interest at banks is very low, but the manager should go to classes on how to deal with people! I spoke to the young man after. He told me there were tellers who were vey nice! He told me he closed both his accounts! Why would I want to go to this bank and deal with such a manager who has no customer service skills! I would be afraid to! As a senior I need better service!

I used Brookline Bank for three years while a West Roxbury resident. I run a solo law firm, and they were adept at handling most of my needs. The staff was friendly, especially Beth, Pam, Mary, and Julie. They got complicated transactions done for me, and when they were complicated, they were clear about what they needed to make things happen. It was a pleasure working with this bank.
