The lady that helped me on 2/25 that claimed to be the manager was extremely rude and a bit unprofessional she needs a lot of customer service training and possibly tested for something else or the company will lose businessPeople like her make me sad to be African American she was very unkind and didn’t want to assist and basically threatened me “girl.., you just don’t know” those were her words although I persisted to show her kindness if she had someone just as hot headed inpatient with nothing to lose like her the police could’ve been called and I am sure although I look very young I am much older than herThese beauty supply companies need to STOP….. making us (African American) look so bad as a whole by hiring just anyone black just so you can say it’s not racism, it’s their own kind.I am sure you wouldn’t hire her or just anyone in a heavy populated White/ Caucasian areaI made a mistake and wrote this review for the River st locationITS FOR THE MATTAPAN LOCATION!!!!

Purchased a wig for $45 today which was displayed on the head as full and thick. Once I opened the wig I immediately noticed it was only about 4-5 tracks on the wig completely different from what was advertised as you can see in the photos. When I tried to call and tell them about how the sold me the wrong cheap version of the wig they did not care at all! All they had to say was “sorry all sales are final. That’s some messed up stuff I work hard for my money and for people to be out here playing people like that is disgusting. I’d be wrong to go in the store and take it off the display head. Make sure if you ever do business CHECK THE HAIR IN THE STORE. I’m so upset but it’s okay Karma will definitely be paying them a visit. I’ll never spend my money here ever again. And I’ll find a way to report this to corporate.

One of the employee's friends decided to walk in screaming "Everybody get down!" They then all began to laugh about it and chat with him as I was checked out. My first time in this store, and last. I'm utterly shocked by the lack of professionalism and reckless disregard by the "people" that these employees allow to frequent it.

To whom may concern,I am a essential worker temporarily in MA. I needed someone to braid my hair ASAP for protective styles. Therefore, I searched via online styleSeat. I found a young lady name, Kay Dioree, who works here.I highly do not recommend TouchedByK-hence Kay Dioree. This young lady is a vindictive money hungry crook. In addition, She is very unprofessional and inadequate.I have done business with her twice. Unfortunately, all I receive was the most disturbing and disgusting experiences with her.For example, I booked a appointment via online for the first encounter. She had me waiting a hour for her to arrive at the location at 1282 Blue Hill Ave. when she arrived she was constantly on the phone and eating. She constantly gossiped and about working here.I believe in second chances. Working in healthcare you have to have compassion, understanding and concern for others. Therefore, I booked a second appointment via phone.Addition to, the second time I needed my hair done…I needed ASAP for a personal trip.She arrived 30 minutes late. She was eating and talking to her “baby daddy.” She brought her 3 year old baby and her the father of her child to the appointment. Not to mention, when arrived to the location two men were already inside. The barber inside the place also had clients. This made me so uncomfortable.TouchedBYKay AKA Kay Dioree is a establishment that I do not recommend. She is crook and vindictive. She will rush through your hair and if your not pleased wit results.. good luck getting in touch with her. She may or may not show up.Apparently, she works here. I am disturbed that they hire someone like her here.I’ve attached photo below! Beware!!!(Talies Beauty &Barber Shop)

Just moved to Boston and was looking for a new beauty supply store to go to and came to BSW but the girl at the cashier, who seemed a bit younger, was so rude for no reason. So I decided to go to the Beauty Supply Supermarket down the street. So much better customer service and lots of option. First and last time in BSW and definitely not referring anyone there.

Went there to get human braiding hair 18 inches and got to the braid spot and it was 16 inches! So mad and I paid 70 bucks for the pack and there wasn’t that much hair in the pack! Such a rip off!
