“Awesome little corner butcher shop! Wanted beef heart and smoked ham hocks, got both! Folks were helpful, friendly, and appeared to like what they were doing. Not cheap, but should meat be cheap?”
“I'm so glad I found this place. The meat and poultry products are superb. Fresh cuts or special orders, Tony will be happy to do it for you.The store had a wide assortment of olive oils, condiments, frozen appetizers, pasta, etc.Friendly and helpful staff make this a little gem in the neighborhood.”
“Went here back in November with my big Sister, who was going to prepare some Oxtails & Pidgeon Peas and rice for me. This is an interesting place, although my Sister was telling me we used to come here all the time for meat when I was younger.
This is a butcher shop like on a wholesale level though, nothing fancy and they have a plethora of seasonings for said meat as well. Ethnic rice to purchase too!
According to my big Sister the prices were competitive if not better than the local grocery markets. It can be confusing to find as it is in an Industrial warehouse area but don't fret - they have all your meat needs covered.
Respectfully Reviewed.”
“Very thankful that Sulmona is in my neighborhood. Anything you want they can get it, and they are a full service shop. One of my favorites is the thin sliced chicken cutlets, sliced, flattened and wrapped right in front of you. I highly recommend these folks.”
“Solid butcher. Has an array of fresh meat options (whole chicken, wings, legs, sausages, and steaks) as well as some cold items, fresh vegetables, and pantry staples. The place is immaculately clean. Prices are very reasonable. Bilingual signage and staff. Skip Shaw's and get your meat from the local butcher.”
