I love this shop so so much! I could spend hours in here trying on the most beautiful pieces that have ever touched my body (The Bob Macki gown fit for Cher will stay in my heart and mind forever). Cassie is also the most wonderful human and her curation is incredible! It’s like finding the buried treasure!

The collection is bar none, curated from the wardrobes of some of the most stylish and affluent women in the city and all over the country. This is not your run of the mill second hand shop. Castanet rivals the best of resale shops in other major cities including New York and LA. Here you will find pieces from top tier designers and runway collections. Cassie has had over 20 years experience in the consignment industry and her relationships with her consignors and customers, in addition to her knowledge of fashion and it’s history, is extraordinary. It’s the real deal.

The owner, Cassie Is one of the main employees and one of the rudest examples of a business owner I have come across. Her behavior was very rude and offensive. She spoke in this condescending and aggressively fake tone, which changed to a more pleasant tone when she was speaking with white customers. This was my experience on several occasions. Cassies behavior was very obvious and intentional. I would not shop here until she learns that all her customers are deserving of equal amounts of respect

The owner help me pick out a dress for a wedding I attended. Her advice was amazing, and the dress we picked out was PERFECT for my event. I will definitely be coming back the next time I need something special.

This is the best curated consignment store in Boston by far. Every time I go here I find unique designer pieces, and they are always in excellent condition, which is not always the case at some other consignment stores. Pricing is great. A must visit if you are on Newbury St!!!

Impeccable collection of quality designer clothes, but unfortunately not very size inclusive. Everything my mother and I looked at was all size 8 and under. I would consider consigning clothes that can fit size 10 and above! We like designer clothes too :)
