I called the Boston number and they routed me to Texas. When I was finally able to ask the agent what questions I would need to answer if I had an account balance inquiry, I was told they could not provide that information.
I understand maybe not the whole list in order but the fact none would be provided like they were some top secret eyes only questions that no other bank has ever used or even thought of made me angry.
Additionally she added it was normal for members to key in their full social security number to the automated line for account access. That was all I needed to hear.
There is no way in hell I will ever invest in a institution that so frequently processes full socials. I wonder if investors have more money committed to cyber security than they do in loan interest? Actually no I don’t, I want nothing to do with em.

Terrible! I made appointment to deposit money from a small inheritance and agent had left for personal business! I called multiple times and received voicemail that he would be out of office through August 4 ! The problem was it was September! I called and left my number to branch manager Mr.Rivera and I never received a return call! Boston office is a joke! Only reason I chose Schwab is I was a TD Ameritrade customer! The advisor Called and left a message that I missed an appointment the previous day! Problem was the email address that was used I never received an appointment from that address! He lied and never sent me an appointment! His message was he would be on a sabbatical for a month! I’m 65 and need an adult not the children that work for Schwab

Schwab is totally wicked pissah to work with! So glad I found them and combined all my accounts. They are so helpful with whatever I need. When old Stinky calls their 800 customer service number...the reps are the epitome of professionalism and I feel treated the way a valued client should be. Wish many other companies could be like that. So helpful and patient in whatever the situation may be. Their checking account and debit card tools are groovy as well! Would not hesitate to recommend them for anyone that needs some simplification and order with their finances. Special kudos to Brian Rogers-Botellio from the Boston office who is always most attentive and a pleasure to work with.

This branch is great. Wonderful customer service and great people. Just one point of clarification, this is not a bank branch. Checks brought here must be deposited into a brokerage account.

I have been with Charles Schwab for over 5 years and have been very happy with them. I can easily reach a person when I call their customer service line and the representative is always very friendly. The best part is they reimburse all ATM fees no matter what ATM you use. Also there is no account maintenance fee. The website is easy to use and has a lot of helpful features. The $9 trades seem reasonable compared to other online brokerages. Also there is a convient location right in the financial district which makes it easy to deposit checks into my account.
