This is listed (as of the time of this review) as a 24 hr ATM, but you can't get in to use the ATM if the branch is closed.If you go when the branch is open, the teller invariably asks: "Did you know you could have done this transaction at the ATM?" ...even if there is no line and she had nothing better to do besides help you anyway. There is also a person who sits near the door and greets you when you come in, who is probably a banker, but more acts the role of a Wal-Mart greeter.So this branch is basically a locked room containing an ATM, plus two people to guard and curate that ATM... but you can only use it during the hours when the human stewards of the ATM are physically present.

Really tried to give this place few chances, but I think other reviews sum it up. An absolutely empty location where you can't find appointments for days in advance and the employees literally just sit around. As I'm typing this, I'm at the branch and same cycle all over again

Been there on three different occasions to try and open a bank account. The branch is empty, only employees - but they have no availability to open an account, which they say takes an hour to open. Needs better customer service or more staff.

I wanted to open a new personal account and transfer my business account at this location . I was the only person at the back FOUR people sitting on a desk ( that I could see ) two of the staring at their phones . They couldn't take my business because they were " not authorized " to open accounts. Seriously? Another bank was very happy to let me open my personal and transfer my business accounts with them. Unacceptable .

TL;DR nicest banking experience I've ever had, Ty is delightful!I'm a millennial who's worked customer service - I know it's a tough, thankless, under appreciated business, so I typically don't anticipate anything more than a pleasant hello and doing what I need to do.Ty was SUPER friendly and from the jump! I came in just to get starter checks, nothing exciting, but I felt like a premier customer on my first trip lol. Service was quick, conversational, and it was nice meeting other folx in the branch. I'm looking forward to switching my home branch to here going forwards!

I needed a notary. I know better than to walk into a bank without calling to make an appointment and confirm a notaries on staff so I started calling Chase bank. The one in Mattapan told me they didn't have anybody and maybe I could try a couple of other places both of which proved not to have notary service. Then I called the Jamaica Plain branch. Lauren, took my call apologize for not having a notary on staff that day and said let me go call some other branches. She put me on hold for a while came back and apologized twice saying that she was trying to find a location that had a notary on staff that day and seems like nobody did. Then she came back and said no we do have a notary coming in and can I make an appointment. At noon I showed up & was very Efficiently helped by a young man who got my documents signed. Course I'd forgotten my Chase ATM card so I paid a visit to Lauren at the window who gave me all the small bills I wanted and was very friendly. Altogether I thought this was a charming comfortable and very well run branch. (PS- Don't go to places charging stupid prices like $35 which is over the statutorily allowed amount.)

Chase as a whole and the people working at this branch are both horrible. Just opened an account with them 5 days ago and I'm already going in to remove my money.

I assume the staff working at this branch are fine people. But I wouldn't dare bank with Chase: the world's #1 funder of climate change, shoveling over a quarter of trillion dollars into new fossil fuel projects since the Paris Agreement was reached.

Disgusting that this is still going on.Don't bank with Chase. Don't let your friends and family bank with Chase. And don't use their credit cards, unless you're OK with your money helping fund the climate catastrophe.

If I could give no stars, I would. I want to know how you’re the first customer in line and the last one to be addressed with no updates or words from any of their staff. They absolutely need customer service training. If your waiting on someone to complete something, say so (don’t just let me stand there in the corner wondering). Seriously Go to the location in Watertown or Brookline if you want good service because this location is trash.
