About Citizens Opera House
Citizens Opera House is a wonderful opera house with a stunning main theatre room that is symmetrical and has a red, cozy atmosphere. The entrance is beautiful, with marble and great chandeliers. Visitors have seen the Sound of Music, a beautiful production, and the Boston Ballets Nutcracker, an amazing production. The venue is highly recommended for events and is a perfect place to see performances. The building has an ornate interior reflecting old-world craftsmanship and a stunning facility with lots of character. It can be busy and overloaded with people, so choose the right time to break. Bathroom lines can be a mile long. Street parking is almost non‑existent; the Lafayette garage or Uber are suggested. An elevator helps guests with stairs.

Just saw Moulin Rouge last night. Fabulous Show! Full of energy, outstanding voices and beautiful costumes and sets. You will definitely be out of your seat!

This venue is very good for the handicapped and is beautiful with good acoustics. Staff is super helpful
