The branch is not big, and most of the staff are Chinese: they can speak Mandarin and Cantonese, the account opening services are introduced in detail, and the attitude is also very good. The branch office phone number also has Cantonese prompts, and it is very close to Boston's Chinatown. It's not easy to park nearby and public transportation is convenient.

If I could give this branch 0 stars I would. Had an appointment today at 12:30. Got to the branch at 12:29 and to my surprise there was a sign out front saying the branch was closed until 2pm. No one bothered to call me to let me know beforehand nor to reschedule to a different date. Waste my lunch break for nothing. I tried giving Citizens multiple chances even though they keep screwing me over in new and creative ways. This is the worst customer service I have ever received from a bank. I will be switching asap.

They refuse to exchange roll of quarters if you don't have an account with them. This happened during my sister's visit (from and live oversea where having an account with citizenbank doesn't make any sense)I understand they have to do something to boost their business, by giving people a reason to open an account with them...etc, but refuse to exchange quarters? That's just low!

The branch manager Jenny C it's not helpful at all... that's unless, of course, if it's something that can benefit her like opening a new bank account but when her customers need assistance with something else... nope! Jenny is not there for you. I can count more than one occasion that I went there for help and just wasted my time. Also, their customer service in the bank it's more than mediocre. I pretty much got hanged up on every time I call. The branch is ugly and small and I WILL BE TAKING MY BUSINESS SOMEWHERE ELSE. Jenny C almost made me consider changing banks completely! That's how terrible her service is. Thank you for nothing JENNY!!!

Jenny at this branch has helped me on numerous occasions. We had some complex issues concerning a condo account. Jenny has spent the time with me to make everything work as it should.

I deal with this bank almost daily because of work and I've honestly never met nicer people anywhere (in or out of a bank)

Same old citizens nonsense. Trying to close an account and it's the biggest pain in the butt you can imagine. The newest thing is that I can't pay off a balance by check. WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN? The people that worked here seemed fine (the account reps especially) but holy Jeebus, I mean, I'm trying to PAY YOU and you don't want my money? I will NOT miss Citizens Bank.

I came here because I work in the neighborhood. I use USAA for all of my banking. It is super competitive and has better rates than most commercial banks, but it is only open to military personnel and their immediate family members. However, I had a collection of about 10 savings bonds that I had received when I was born, and USAA couldn't take them through the mail, so 30 years later, as they approached their maturity dates, I figured it was time to cash in on these. I called ahead to see if they would cash these for me, despite me not being a member of the bank. They said they would. I asked how long it takes to cash them out, they said they could cash them immediately. So I head down there on a random Thursday with my bonds. The teller begins to calculate the payout, and after a few minutes, one of the other "supervisor" tellers starts to notice that she's calculating bonds from a few windows down. He starts to rudely chastise her for calculating them for me immediately, and yelled at her to tell me to come back later and do them later. The teller calmly completes my transaction, which was surprising because this other teller was rather curt and abrasive with her. She calculated a different value than I had, so I asked if she could double check again when she has a moment, and I would return with my print-out of how my calcs. She took my phone number and called me 30 minutes later to say she got the same value. I returned with my print-out, and we discovered I had a fat finger for one of the months the bond was issued. She suggested I open a checking account with the wad of cash I was now holding, as they were having a promotion at the time. Even though I like my USAA, I figured I'd listen to what they were offering. I don't have a local bank and do all my banking online and through the mail, so I figured "hey, why not. Let's try commercial banking today." I was shuffled over to the woman who handles new accounts. This is where I started to go from feeling iffy about this bank, to feeling VERY iffy about this bank. The woman who was trying to sell me this checking account assumed I was stupid, and would just open a checking account without fully understanding how tricky it actually was to gain the free $50 or $100 with the checking account. I attempted to cease the meeting with her as I realized that some of the terms and conditions of receiving the cash was having something like 6 automatic bill payments a month, plus all these other unattainable stipulations. I explained don't even PAY 6 bills a month, making this impossible. She said something like, "It's not that hard, just go online and arrange for automatic bill payments." Then I inquired about the fees associated with the account, and she gave me the run-around, all the while talking to me like I was scum of the earth because I wasn't excitedly filling out the personal information form. I felt as though her demeanor was really unprofessional, and I thought a bank that wants my business would talk to me as a fellow professional. This moment was one of those moments that you realize you're in the midst of being scammed. Like that time I was 17 at Newark Penn Station and a crying woman almost conned me into giving her a few dollars, and you realize you've been taken for a fool just before you hand over some cash. Watching the poor teller get reprimanded in front of a line of people, then having an unprofessional woman in charge of gaining new customers, no thank you. I walked away from woman trying to close a shoddy deal, and promised myself to never walk into a Citizens Bank again. I'll keep USAA as my one and only, thank you very much.

I usually enjoy banking with Citizens, but this branch is different from others, their customer service is really limping. I went there to deposit a Bank check onto my account. There are two ways you can do it: deposit as a regular check so it will be available next day or you can cash it and put on the account as cash, this way you will get money right away. Usually tellers do the second option or ask you if you need money right away. Not in here! She deposited it as a regular check, so I had to go back and redeposit it(thanks god I double checked for an account balance!), but also she made such a face when I asked her to re-do it. The bottom line is Citizens as a bank is not bad, however try to avoid this branch.
