I’m a citizens customer for over 2 years and I’m very upset with the recent changes. Genti was a great branch manager and John was an amazing investment advisor. They all left.
Overall I found Citizens very inefficient with communications. And it got worst recently. They prefer meetings virtual or in person meetings, and they avoid writing emails or text messages even for simple questions such as what’s the loan rate, investment related questions, etc.
Since John left I worked with Sussana and Cole, same story, super inefficient… felt like they are following a strict template of dialogues that they are not allowed to deviate from.
Same issue with Brian at the mortgage department… had one of most inefficient experiences, and the rate he offered was not good, I had to search and bring a better counter offer… then get it matched and close…
so many unnecessary meetings, I ended up building investment relationship with another bank.
I hope citizens improves efficiency and offers.
Lastly. Alex Loeffel is the only person in my experience that practices efficient communication, he is very talented and I hope Citizens allows him to grow, I would have certainly closed investment relationships with him if he was an advisor
