I’ve been a customer at this bank for a while and have made several deposits and transactions in the past without issue. However, my experience today was incredibly frustrating. I went in to make a deposit to a business account, and the manager on duty treated me with rudeness and suspicion.
Despite having previously obtained a letter from customer service confirming the account, the manager acted as if I was trying to do something dishonest. When I explained the situation and referenced my past transactions, she accused me of lying, which was both insulting and unprofessional.
I came in expecting a routine transaction, but instead, I was met with hostility and disrespect. It takes a lot to get me out of character, but this experience left me extremely upset. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and professionalism, not suspicion and rudeness, especially from a manager.
This experience has made me seriously reconsider my banking options. No one should have to deal with such behavior, particularly in a place where trust and customer service should be a priority.

WORST. BANK. EVER. Avoid at all costs. Most frustrating and incompetent bank I've ever dealt with. My father had a HELOC and a checking account at Citizens Bank, and when he passed away, I paid off the HELOC and tried to close the accounts. I am my father's executor and I have all the documents (death certificate, letters of authority etc) to prove it. I live in CA and they have no branches here so I have to do it by phone. I've had many, many phone calls with them and every time I get a different story and they ask me for something new. I've sent in the info they requested by physical mail, email and fax, but they still won't close the accounts. It's a nightmare. And whenever you send them any new information, it takes several weeks to get posted in their system.

Okay it’s Friday 15 April 2023 don’t go do check over there one of the clerks did not give me a receipt back and took my two checks said it will come on Monday both never came on Monday so now I have to go back ask for a receipt ask her to track those two pay checks . She gave me 166 when I gave her around 500 dallors in checks

Poor customer service. Whoever hired these employees must not understand what it means to have customer.service skills on their resumes! One of the tellers had a bad attitude, like leave it at home your at work now..took me over am hour and a half to be seen just to get a lock taken off my account. Ridiculous

DO NOT USE ATM, it did not give me the money I requested but printed a receipt showing the debited amount. My account was debited. Spending the weekend with no money in my account and no money in my pocket. Service manager put a claim in and stated it would be corrected in 24 hours. Day 4 and still waiting. Horrific banking services. Closing my account with citizens as soon as they credit my accout. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

I'm choosing this branch but it applies to all branches. They are out of date. The ATM's are slow and the graphics are from 1990. One time I missed my train because the ATM was so slow. There should be more privacy at banks. I can hear the people next to me talking about the details of their transaction that is none of my business. It's stuffy. I hope the future banking is done differently.
