I booked the 1:30 pm sculpt class today. Was at the door at 1:31 to which I saw the instructor, Jamie Khanschassoff, tell her associate to not let me in. Core power preached kindness towards their yogis yet I was treated with mean spirited behavior and not allowed to go into class. After being 1 minute late and her seeing me run to the door. Every other studio I've been to has given their clients grace if they arrive a minute late and the decency to speak with them rather than shake their head no and tell their colleague to not let a client in. Extremely disappointing

Fenway is a great location, the classes and trainers are really good and helpful, but they are not beginner friendly, you catch pretty quickly after a couple classes, but you will be completely lost the first time.

Love cp, been coming for about a year and my favorite instructor is definitely Nicole R., her strength x is the perfect balance of challenging and empowering and i always feel stronger walking out. Also love Paria C2 class!

I had a very disappointing experience at Corepower Yoga lately. Despite pouring rain and heavy traffic, I arrived just 30 seconds late. A friendly staff member allowed me in, which I really appreciated. However, this instructor, Heather, had the most condescending and rude attitude, citing safety concerns despite the minor delay. quoting of the replies above(“if one of the studio management team is at the studio within 5 minutes of class starting, they will do their best to get you into class.“), I found it very confusing. I believe in treating all clients with respect, and Heather's behavior did not align with Corepower's values. I hope they address this issue for a more welcoming atmosphere.

Yoga lost in the overpowered pilate sessions which they claim is a form of Yoga. Being a certified yoga instructor I found the advertisement as well as the sessions to be false. They ask you to bring/rent a mat at the studio but random deduct the amount from your card with no explanation. The studio locks just 2 mins prior to the given time so you'll be charged the penalty amount of $15 even if you're outside the studio. Even if just for a minute late. Way to go CPY. Another one of those money minded defrauding schemes.

This studio space is really small. I would strongly suggest getting changed beforehand as there is only one bathroom... it gets pretty crowded after a class. However, being in an area like Fenway that makes sense as it's a very $$$ area -- I came here on a Friday evening and it was so worth it as after class there is so much to do in an area like Fenway! Took my first class here which was a Yoga sculpt and loved it (I love CPY in general haha)!

This studio has nice amenities and very friendly instructors. I just wish there was more of a balance between the different class types. The vast majority of the classes on the schedule appear to be Yoga Sculpt, which personally is not my favorite because doing cardio and strength in a heated room is just not my preference. If you like that class type, this studio would be great for you!

Becca's class at Fenway Core Power is excellent, great pacing, energy, flow, music playlist. Overall positive studio environment.

Going to this studio changed my life! I was so sick of lifting weights at the gym and doing the same thing every week. Also, I was too lazy to stretch out my muscles and that’s very bad. But, by going to both Sculpt and C2 classes at the studio, I was able to find a nice balance between strength training and stretching. I’m getting stronger and more flexible with every class! I literally go every day and I don’t see me stopping anytime soon!

Meets all expectations of a CorePower studio! If you are familiar with CorePower, you know it is heated yoga with several different class types - Yoga Sculpt (sun salutations with weights and 80% bodyweight strength training/conditioning with some cardio bursts), C2 (level 2 yoga), Hot Power Fusion (balance, extra heat), etc. Just FYI - based on my experience, this studio specifically is roughly 70% Yoga Sculpt classes, 25% C2, 5% HPF, so this might not be the best studio if you are looking for "true" yoga, since this studio focuses more on sculpt. The studio is heated to about 92-95 deg F the times that I have been there. They have classes starting about 9am and the latest ends at 8pm or so during weekdays and a few morning classes on weekend. Sometimes the classes are packed, but often the classes have fewer than 10 students which is nice. Plenty of teachers in the schedule so you can experience different sequences. Remember to bring your own mat, water bottle, and towel (you will need the towel!), or you pay extra for those. Sign up online ahead of time! Bonus: they often have packets of Nuun at the front desk that you can grab as well as extra hair ties :)

Core power gives anyone a really great workout (sculpt) and if you want more mindfulness, take the yoga class.

First the positive, convenient time, clean studio and convenient location. Now for the real stuff: 1. Instructors- Imagine a robot pre-programmed or a human memorizing a speech to mechanically shout out orders and insteuctions while walking around the room. That is what you get. I have gone to a dozen if classes in 3 Boston locations and the quality of the instructors is terrible. I doubt they are certified. There is no technique, no warmth and no expertise. I imagine this is where real yoga instructors will not consider employment. 2. Heated yoga- The ability to have a heated studio was truly the only redeeming feature. By heated I mean the 93-100 degrees stated in their website for their CP2 class. This is not Bikram hot level just a level that is good to give you a workout. Guess what? This is up to the above "instructors" discretion. And a lot of them (Backbay) would rather walk around the studio and not mess up their hair. So they do not heat up the studio. 3. At $28 per class when you consider the two points above, this is outrageously expensive. Backaby is a wondowless basement. For less than that you can get extremely knowleadgble instructors, high ceilings and a window elsewhere. Corepower, you need to get better instructors, actualy heat up your studios and adjust your pricing. Come on!

Pre pandemic, I loved Core Power Yoga. Post pandemic, Core Power Yoga's customer service is not what it used to be. I went to a Sculpt class tonight at the Fenway studio, and the instructor did not show which was incredibly frustrating. Also, the class selections are still very limited - not what they were pre pandemic. No one from the Studio has been able to give me an answer as to when they will increase. As a monthly member, I often struggle to find classes that work for my schedule in a convenient location.
