I highly recommend CubeSmart. I stopped in the office to inquire about a storage unit and was greeted by Adolfo who was very friendly. He took the time to show me a few units and answers all of my questions. The process was seamless and I didn't feel rushed, given he stayed a little longer after his shift ended to answers additional questions.

I had previously rented a storage unit with Public Storage in my hometown to store my belongings while I was traveling abroad. The experience was awful…rats got into my boxes and bags and chewed at a lot of my stuff and left their droppings as well. Communication was poor, etc. So needless to say I was a bit anxious about using a storage locker for the second time, but Charles put my mind at ease from our first phone call. I had a ton of questions initially (figured I didn’t ask the right things the first time around and wanted to be thorough) and he was very patient and reassuring. I got a sweet 40% discount or something for booking in springtime (maybe low season I’m not sure) and also for booking online I believe there was a discount involved. I wasn’t able to utilize the free truck on my move in day because I don’t drive in Boston and therefore didn’t have an active insurance policy in my name. That was a bit of a bummer but I do understand to a certain extent. It would have been extremely helpful if the truck was just insured by CubeSmart because I could have saved on renting my own U-haul. U-haul didn’t ask for my own insurance policy so this is worked out by other companies. Regardless of that, the move-in was smooth and the storage locker was the perfect size for my needs. I only used it for 5 months total but each time I would visit, my belongings were safe and sound — no unwelcome critters or surprises. It was easy enough to use my code to open the doors and convenient to have those carts available near the entrances. I used them quite a bit. It was also nice to have a bathroom located inside the office so if I needed to wash my hands or something I could always pop in there. Charles was also always friendly and professional whenever I had a random question; he is really good at his job! The only thing I would say as a real downside (which didn’t end up affecting me after all) is that I received notice a few weeks before moving out that my monthly rate would increase seemingly for no reason. I called Charles and he explained that rates are dynamic and can change based on demand and the time of year. This was a bit confusing and obviously no one likes to hear that their monthly bill is going up. I was already at a point of moving out soon so I didn’t end up paying the higher rate but I mention this anyways. Overall I had a really good experience with you guys and would definitely use Cube Smart somewhere else in the country if I had storage needs again. Thanks for everything! Thank you Charles!

I reserved a 10x15 online with virtual check-in. When I arrived to my unit, they gave me three separate 5x10 units and only provided two locks.
This isn’t what was reserved, and I wouldn’t have gone with this location if I knew that’s what I would be receiving. I have emailed the front office and received no response, but did receive an email asking for a review.
It’s disappointing that they advertise that size unit being available and then pull a bait and switch.

I was in the middle of moving and the two office people were so helpful! They checked on my cube for me to make sure it was secure, loaned me a truck, then helped me find a way to navigate it thru Boston to my destination. I also saw one of them help a customer change their flat tire in the lot. They had great customer relation skills and went above and beyond. I am so happy I chose this particular CubeSmart!

Costumer service was great. Charles was awesome! He talked us through step by step of what to expect. Would really recommend going here. He had cool glasses too.
