This store has gone down considerably. Never stocked efficiently anymore. 👎🏿

Even though the lines are long and you have to ask for things to be unlocked, it is my neighborhood CVS and the staff are always friendly and helpful even when busy.

TLDR: always long lines, never a happy face in sight
I want to like this CVS so badly. It would be *convenient* if a pharmacy within walking distance from my home was reliable and efficient. It simply isn’t the case.
You will never walk out of here without standing in line for over 5 minutes.
You will never interact with an employee of pharmacy in which they are courteous, informative, or dare I suggest kind. Condescension is the lay of the law back there.
Never ask for a manager and expect anything to change.

Everything in this store is locked up and requires and employee to help you get everything so super inefficient and I’ve been getting my prescriptions here for 6 months now and have not had a single visit without some sort of issue. This time was they didn’t have my insurance anymore even though it hasn’t changed and I have used my insurance to get prescriptions here. Also they will never answer their phone, when trying to transfer my prescriptions I had to go in and tell them to answer the phone when my previous pharmacy called. Only reason they get a 2 is because the staff is nice.

Don’t get your proscriptions here. Along with my prescription I also needed some needles as I had ran out. I just needed a couple until that specific script could be filled and the pharmacy tried to charge me $5.99 per one. A whole box is 5.99. For clarity, it was this little white lady who was belittling her employees in front of customers. So rude and clearly has no idea what she’s even talking about. She needs a reality check and probably should be fired. I’ve used two other cvs to filled scripts before I moved to this area and would sometimes have to buy a couple needles when I’d run out etc. I’d be charged .35 per one needle, at both CVS previous to this one. This pharmacy has lost its mind trying to pull something like that. Wow

When item searching for is in stock, the go ahead is to purchase
when a nearby location does not have item in-stock. It's great to
have 2 CVS near each other in a densely residential neighborhood.

Today I learned that whether I’m told: 1. Your prescription has been sent to the wrong pharmacy, and that pharmacy is not a CVS, and I have no idea which pharmacy it is; or 2. Your prescription will be ready in 15 minutes, no problem —entirely depends on which employee I happen to talk to.

Worst pharmacy I ever used. Very poor customer service, the prescriptions are always expired. Don’t ever use this pharmacy as a primary provider.

Today was the most unpleasant experience at CVS customers were controlling me making me feel uncomfortable making me believe that I can't purchase certain items and the employers weren't so concerned either I was very mistreated and I didn't appreciate how I was treated. I hope the next time I go to that store people don't follow me around in aisles trying to watch what I'm buying because they're not concerned about me and they're not my friends.

The pharmacist at 704 center st Jamaica plane was awful and yelled and embarrassed me telling me " look me in the eyes" she belittled me I've never felt so bad, I chopped my thumb off and just needed help but got nothing but an attitude, she ganged up on me, she had no right doing that, it should all be on video, I cut my thumb off with a table Saw at work, I got discharged from Brigham and women hospital after spending the night after them trying to save my thumb, they couldn't do I now have half of a thumb, I waited a few hours to go there, the pain meds were wearing off, the pharmacist made me wait three hours then while laughing closed the gate pretty much in my face, I did not get my script and was in agony all night ( I chopped my thumb off and just needed a little compassion) the next day after having the doctor call her she stormed up to me and demanded I look her in the eyes and wouldn't give me my script if I didn't. It was the worse experience of my life, she violated my rights, I've been going there for years with no issues, it should all be on video there's multiple cameras everywhere, I've been thinking of calling a lawyer to see what they think, the video doesn't lie

My experience with CVS Pharmacy this morning was unexpectedly positive. My first visit to this particular location was prompted by the need for a hard-to-find medication, unavailable at my regular CVS.Attempts to reach a tech/PharmD at my usual pharmacy (Morrissey Blvd) were unsuccessful, leading me to contact this store on a whim. The response was prompt, and the tech/PharmD not only addressed my issue but also proactively offered to coordinate with the other CVS to transfer my prescription manually. The follow-through was impressive, with a notification arriving in a short 30 minutes to inform me the prescription was ready for pickup.
Upon arrival, I encountered an issue with insurance coverage. It's always feels a bit awkward / disruptive to staff when checkout is halted for insurance re-verifications or discount card applications. However, the woman here (Sydney I think) managed the situation with such grace and a smile, diligently working the system to save me over $500… while nicely directing a vaccine appointment to take a seat… Most importantly, she didn’t make me feel burdensome.
This store seems to defy the apparent trend of understaffing across the CVS pharmacy network, boasting a team of friendly, efficient technicians and pharmacists. And the meds look organized on the shelves—not true at many stores.
It's clear that with sufficient support from CVS corporate and the recruitment of exceptional staff members like Sydney, CVS has the potential to retain customers who might otherwise turn to alternatives like Amazon, driven by frustration.

Store never seems to have anything I need in stock. I always have to go somewhere else. Hopefully they can fix this!
