Scam Alert – Be Vigilant When Purchasing Gift Cards
I recently had a troubling experience at this CVS location after purchasing two Mastercard gift cards. Upon closer inspection, I noticed the numbers on the front of both cards had been scratched off, and fake barcodes had been placed over the originals on the back—clear signs of tampering.
I returned to the store the next day and brought this to the attention of the store manager, Mustafa. I explained the situation and suggested he check the shelf where I selected the cards, as I believed other cards might be compromised. When he opened another package from the same section in front of me, it appeared tampered with in the exact same way.
Unfortunately, the manager’s response was dismissive and lacked urgency. He did not indicate that he would escalate or report the issue internally. Instead, I was simply given a phone number to contact CVS customer service myself.
This experience was deeply frustrating, and I want to caution other customers: please inspect all gift cards thoroughly before purchasing. This local CVS needs to take stronger action to prevent these scams from affecting more customers.

fyi not an native speaker but just because I didn’t understand where was the kit, the manager or idk who it was indian guy started talking to me like I’m 6yo ill kid w raising his voice, horrible experience. Hope it will be better

CVS needs to do better with their sales. No one is fooled by the BUY ONE GET ONE at 50% OFF- that's only 25% off both! And that's the week you get a coupon and can't use it on any sale item!
The staff is fine but it's the regular prices that are too high.

Just a bad store all around. Almost every item is locked up. Employees take at least 5 minutes to open up items and are seemingly really reluctant to do so. This is 10x more irritating if you’re sick and barely made it to the pharmacy.
I’d argue that CVS is losing more in lost sales than the shoplifters they avoid by locking everything up. I mean, you’re really going to lock up candy behind a glass door? You’re a multibillion dollar corporation 😭

The staff here is outstandingly warm, kind and helpful. I had a small issue with a vaccine voucher and they called the issuer, figured everything out, and then called me back to let me know all was good to go to proceed. Thank you!

Incredibly hard to shop here as everything is locked behind plastic doors meant to prevent shoplifting. It takes at least five minutes for someone to come help you open the anti-theft doors. Shopping here is like pulling teeth.
