So friendly, knowledgeable and fair priced! Got an inspection sticker and tires and was very impressed at how fast and easy everything was! Herbie was awesome! I highly recommend D & L Auto Repair!!

My check engine light came on and I called and they were able to fit me in on a busy Saturday. They were able to diagnose the issue and showed me what the problem was and answered any questions I had. While servicing my car they gave me hourly phone updates and even stayed open an extra 30 min so I could get my car. It’s hard to find a trustworthy mechanic/team in the city, but I will ONLY use D&L and will recommend them without hesitation. Would give 10 stars if possible.

Considerate, caring, and wise. An instant oil change shop refused to service my car due to an oil leak issue and told me to find a mechanic. I came to D & L. They examined and advised me to fix the issue instead of driving home on the same day, because the car could break down in the middle of the road any moment soon. They quoted a reasonable and considerate price. Not only did they fix the issue, but my car also feels anew when driving!

Ive gone to D & L for an inspection before, and theyre always super nice, but today I had the wrong registration, and I had gotten a ticket and Herbie was so nice- I went home got the right paper and came back and he took my car right in, if I needed work, like brakes or anything, I'd definitely come back - just an all around good experience

Herbie, the beautiful lady at the front, and all the guys are really the best. I came right in after calling and seeing if they had appointment, probably the only place in Dorchester who does. I got an alignment and they checked my brakes too! I’ll be back in two weeks to get that done. Highly recommended.

This place is well reviewed for a reason. Joe took the time to explain my options when what I thought was a minor repair turned out to be a bigger issue than expected. The price was fair and these guys did a great job getting it done fast. Herbie also took the time to make sure I understood what was done and other upcoming maintenance I might consider to keep the car running smoothly. I will definitely be back.

Trustworthy and reliable family business. Went here a few times for car repair and maintenance and never once I feel like Im being cheated. They thoroughly check my car and explain whats really going on and recommend the remedies. Would highly recommend.
