About The Dimock Center
Dimock Health Center is a community-focused healthcare facility that offers a welcoming and friendly environment. Patients appreciate the clean and nice facilities, which reflect its community-oriented vibe, different from larger hospitals. The staff, including doctors and pediatric teams, are generally seen as kind, compassionate, and helpful, with many reviews highlighting their dedication and willingness to support patients and families. The pediatric department, in particular, receives high praise for its excellent care and concern for children's well-being. Patients have had positive experiences with their providers, noting that doctors are receptive to questions and work efficiently, including quick referrals within the larger Beth Israel Deaconess network. However, some mention challenges with communication, especially due to long wait times on the phone and the limited functionality of the online patient portal, which currently does not allow appointment scheduling or messaging providers. Despite these issues, most find the overall care at Dimock to be very good. Specialized services like eye care are highly recommended. Patients have described the staff in the eye department as kind and accommodating, offering personalized fittings and modifications. Overall, Dimock Health Center is viewed as a compassionate, community-based option that provides quality care, despite some areas for improvement in communication and services.

I got clean in 2006 this place really helped me. The rooms were nice and dark and relaxed there was no pressure to get out of bed when I didn't feel good. The staff helped me get into inpatient after care . Really great place for community I'm grateful for this place and

I've been a patient for 60 years. So disappointed with the changes. They don't inform when PCP leaves, so it's difficult to get Rx Refills. They stopped hiring Black support staff 20 years ago. Complaints go nowhere. Who's the CEO, Board of Directors? Why can't they retain MDs?

I'm giving 2 stars for the pediatrician and the mat program. I would not get a primary care here. They don't treat you well here. I have been coming here for about 6 years and I'm changing my doctor.
