This area has changed over the decades. While there are plenty of stores, there aren't any bookstores around anymore. I was disappointed when Barnes and Nobles left and then later Borders. It used to be fun spending a good deal of time browsing through books while sitting down trying to choose which book to buy. It's not like that anymore and the area has become "very on the go", meaning shop, eat, and then go home.

Love that Trader Joes and Old Navy Primark are literally 1 second from one another.

Definitely one of the busiest stations. Had a weird smell as well. One thing to note is that you can from one angle see the next station - State.

One of my favourite place in Boston. This place have different energy and i really enjoyed it here. The stony street gives really a beautiful look to this place. Lots of people, very fun place to be at. The Boston common is nearby and lots of ionic places are near by. One of the places i will visit again, if i am in Boston.

I really understand what the homeless go through in Downtown Crossing in Boston Common and areas around there because I was a homeless person myself and from that experience gave me the ability to look through a homeless person's eyes and see what they go through so I have great compassion on homeless people everywhere many people are genuinely homeless and the thing that bothers me a lot of people will pass them by either scorn them or mock them and not do anything to help them that upsets me greatly because what if the people that do this we're in this particular situation would they want to be scorned or mocked I don't think so if they would once in awhile help people on the streets and I'm talking about the ones that really need the help with a little money or food some kind of encouragement would really make a homeless person's day that would have been good for me when I was homeless in the Frozen cold of Indiana and there was no one around Boston has an incredible amount help places for such as the homeless that Indiana does not have that I have seen Boston hasn't incredible amount of help places for such as the homeless that I have not seen in Indiana I'm not saying Indiana doesn't have them but from what I've seen they don't have too many of them and Anderson Indiana has only got one help place a shelter for the homeless downtown it's my desire every time I'm downtown to hand out what I call snack bags things I prepared for myself to give them including water and it's received with gratitude trust me a lot of them want a hand up because I talked to many of them and got to know them when you been where they are and feel like they felt you're going to understand what it feels like to be in their shoes! ???

You got a nice place to visit with the people from their very rude. If you’re on the car, they don’t let you go. People on the sidewalk will not respect the car. That’s how it is a Boston full of traffic.

I love Charley's in the food court. Great subs and great price. Fresh food. There is like three Oriental restaurants as well they are all good and great prices. Plus the Keno spot is cool. There is a lot of winning going on there.

A variety of stores and venue to grab a bite..also multiple Dunkin donuts and Starbucks. Just in my opinion don't waste your time on the breakdancing show. It's 30 mins for one flip. They continue to strong-arm people to give them $20 each. Waste of time. They like to place the race card several times during the show. Do yourself a favor and keep it moving.

Not a bad place to stop for a bite to eat. Had more options than I expected which was a plus. The barbecue spot was very good
