Depressing. Awful store and not much in real high quality shoes. The staff on the second floor was helpful. The woman on the 3rd floor was both mean and unhelpful. Save your time and visit another DSW store.

Just today I had a disappointing experience at this DSW. The store manager treated me poorly during a shoe exchange, displaying a lack of knowledge about their own policies. As a tourist from Egypt and a hijabi, I felt discriminated against. The manager's rude and mean behavior was unacceptable, especially for someone in a leadership role. It's disheartening to encounter such treatment from a store manager. I hope the management takes steps to address these issues and improve customer service.

I have never walked out of here without a pair of shoes! They have a very large selection of name brands! While sightseeing in Boston, we stopped in because my current sneakers were not very good for walking. I walked out wearing a new pair of New Balance sneakers and feltlike I was walking on air. They saved the day!.

My favorite place in Boston to shop for shoes! Although it is difficult for me to find something I really like there, once I do - it's always at a reasonable price and lasts me 2-3 seasons. Located at Downtown Crossing, it's close enough to other stores like tjmaxx or Marshalls, so you can make a shopping day out of it.

Small space, limited selection, but pretty decent overall. I still come here when I'm looking for shoes just because I know the prices are comparatively reasonable. Never had an issue with the staff as other reviewers seem to have.

I was surprised at this location. Everything is so clean and organized and there is an entire floor of athletic footwear in addition to a floor above for women's shoes. I found several versions of the style I was looking for at very reasonable prices. I removed one star because two different sales people came up right next to me and never asked if they could help me although there very few people in the store and they were closing soon. Just a hint for better customer service: If you want to let people know the store is closing soon, just ask if they need help finding anything so it's more pleasant. Otherwise a really good experience and I did leave with a good pair of shoes !

ZERO STARS I bought a pair of shoes a week ago. Wore them once for 10 minutes and I was in so much pain and had to take them off. They would not return them because they were too worn. I'm like WHAT!!?!?!? The soles are white they were not perfect white when I bought them. They were like we will lose money if we return them. I can't, I just can't with this store. I am (correction, WAS!!!) an avid customer but I am done, talk about losing money, you just lost way more money then one pair of shoes. I'm like I AM losing money because these shoes are not wearable!!! NEVER GOING BACK!!!

This store doesn’t value the customers. Like the security on this video. He is jot doing his job. Doesn’t have a mouth to answer customers, he can only shake his head like a dog. But the. He talks to the homeless when the homeless try to get in.

The lady with grey hair is rude. I just trying on shoes and a customer for 10 years. She doesn't have great customer service skills the way she talk to me, you would think that she thought I was stealing. I am way too educated to be taking things that does not belong to me. A person should never look at someone because of context of their skin.

I have small feet and I know that 5.5 isn’t a common size, but I’ve never had such a hard time at any other DSW finding shoes in my size. 100+ styles of sandals to choose from and not a single 5.5 in this store, except for the maybe 20 pairs in the clearance section. Staff was nice and helpful. I’m just disappointed because I haven’t had a problem finding my size in other DSW locations.

DSW, also known as Designer Shoe Warehouse, is a popular footwear retailer that is known for its vast selection of shoes, boots, sandals, and other types of footwear. With over 500 locations around the world as well as a robust online store, DSW caters to a diverse range of shoppers with different styles and preferences. One of the main selling points of DSW is its affordable prices. Shoppers can often find stylish and high-quality shoes for a fraction of the cost of other retailers. In addition to the low prices, DSW also offers a wide range of sizes and widths, which can be especially helpful for shoppers with hard-to-find sizes. However, the shopping experience at DSW can be hit or miss. Some stores can be disorganized and cluttered, making it difficult to find what you're looking for. The online store can also be overwhelming due to the sheer number of options available. However, DSW does offer a program called VIP Rewards that can help shoppers earn points and discounts on future purchases.Overall, DSW is a great option for shoe shoppers who are looking for a wide selection of affordable footwear. While the shopping experience can be flawed at times, the low prices and diverse options make it a worthwhile destination for anyone in need of a new pair of shoes.

I am extremely disappointed with the DSW site and customer service. I placed an order to be delivered and several days later received an email stating the order did not go through due to technical issues. I called DSW customer service and the two customer service representatives could not explain the issue stating PayPal would need to sort it out in 3-5 days. So, I cancelled the order because the issue could not be resolved promptly and I need the shoes soon. I lost the 20% discount and the weekend bag that I received with the first order. Then on the reorder, to add insult to injury...the site would not let me sign in...the keyboard for the password would not come up. I attempted to enter the password 5x and every attempt failed so I gave up. So, I was unable to apply $10 credit I had as well as 2x points. Save yourself the trouble and order shoes elsewhere.

Clearly shoe stores are designed for women. Even with their multiple floors, the mens' section is only about 1/3 of a single floor. But even so, the selection seems pretty good for an average male like myself. I'm not looking for glitz and glamour, but instead efficiency, pricing and practicality. For the most part they do have some nice quality shoes but sizing can be very difficult to find. I have been there multiple times and found the PERFECT pair of shoes, only to be disappointed that they do not have my size. The 9 to 10 ranges get snatched up pretty quickly. Be absolutely sure to wear those shoes before buying. These are discount shoes after all. A LOT of them are very uncomfortable. Be prepared to spend some time there trying things on and then be prepared to wait in line for the extremely slow cashiers who couldn't care less about your time. Hey, I've bought my last 4 pair of shoes at this place so I can't complain. You don't always get a winner but I've found some real deals on some excellent shoes that lasted me years. If you are looking for ease and time saver, I'd suggest going somewhere else though.

Really great selection of shoes and good prices, and friendly staff -- minus the manager, who always looks like she's about 10 seconds away from punching someone in the face
