Stay away. Seriously. This location has notoriously had issues with cleanliness and other safety protocols. They actually recently got ordered to shut down due to a failed safety inspection, but they remained open for 2 more weeks, which wasn't allowed. I know this location because there used to be a pretty good Italian restaurant connected to this location, so every time I went to the restaurant to get take out I saw this DD. Unfortunately this DD has all kinds of issues and needs to close. If you want a coffee, go to the DD at government center (basically across the street) or further down Cambridge at at MGH.

This place is dirty and there's a shifty atmosphere. They also close much earlier than comparable branches. Avoid.

Believe the bad reviews of this nasty little Dunkin. It should be shut down by corporate if they had any standards. In addition to the highly questionable cleanliness in front of and behind the counter, staff is rude, slow and unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

As I stumbled upon the Beacon Hill Dunkin Donuts, I was immediately struck by an overwhelming sense of dread. The storefront, with its faded red and orange paint and peeling signage, seemed to be an ancient relic of a forgotten time. As I approached the entrance, I noticed the unmistakable scent of urine, a pungent odor that seemed to emanate from the very fabric of the building itself.Inside, the air was thick with the acrid aroma of burnt coffee and stale pastries. The dim lighting cast eerie shadows on the grimy walls, and the sound of two Iranian employees bickering in their native tongue echoed through the empty space. These two individuals, consumed by their own petty squabbles, paid no heed to the customers who waited in vain for service.Meanwhile, a lone teenage employee valiantly struggled to maintain the façade of normalcy, taking orders, making coffee, and baking donuts with the frenzied desperation of one who knows that something unspeakable lurks just beyond the threshold. I could see the fear in her eyes as she glanced furtively over her shoulder, as if expecting some eldritch horror to materialize out of the shadows at any moment. But the true horror of the Beacon Hill Dunkin Donuts was revealed when I attempted to exit the establishment. As I pushed open the door, I was greeted by the sight of a group of homeless people and junkies gathered outside, relieving themselves on the door and walls of the building. Their eyes were hollow and devoid of humanity, their bodies twisted and malformed by years of neglect and abuse. As I stumbled away from the Beacon Hill Dunkin Donuts, my mind reeled with the knowledge that something ancient and malevolent lurked within its walls. Something that had twisted the minds of its employees and drawn the wretched outcasts of society to its doorstep. Something that, once encountered, could never be forgotten.

The guy who took my order was touching everything, THEN touched the food with his BARE HANDS! I told him to wear gloves to which he proceeded still touch everything and go back to the food. Disgusting service. Train your employees better. He also dropped a knife on the floor and picked it back up.
