They're good with my dog, but not with my cat. Staff there are friendly, and scheduling is easy.

Have taken my Boston Terrier here since he was a puppy. We see a different doctor at the same place now and both have been fantastic. My dog is always happy to go to the vet, they’re very caring with animals. I find the cost to be comparative or slightly less than other area vets. They performed his neutering and have dealt with some minor health issues over the years, he’s 6 now and perfectly healthy!

Absolutely horrible and traumatizing experience for me and my family. Do not recommend at all and would provide 0 stats if possible. Will never go there again.

That feeling you get when you talk to the nurse and you feel they will care for someone you love, in this case my mom

I have been going to Emmerson Animal Hospital for almost a decade now. The staff and doctors are not only friendly and approachable but also highly knowledgeable in their field. About four years ago, my beloved boxer was diagnosed with cancer, and unfortunately, the success rate for chemotherapy was very low. As a pet owner, this was devastating news, but the team at Emmerson worked with me to develop a plan and treatment that would ensure my dog lived out their last few months to the fullest.During this difficult time, it was clear that Emmerson genuinely cared about the health and wellbeing of my dog, and they didn't make the situation about money. They went above and beyond to provide compassionate care, which made all the difference. This level of dedication and compassion is something that sets Emmerson Animal Hospital apart from other animal hospitals in the area. What's unique about Emmerson is that it is still family-owned, you can see this in the care they provide to each animal and situation. I cannot thank them enough for the care they provided for my boxer and because of this I will never go anywhere else. Overall, I highly recommend Emmerson Animal Hospital to anyone looking for exceptional veterinary care for their pet.

Staff was extremely rude, passive aggressive at 9am in the morning. Rich and Brittany chose to be combative, and use micro aggressions before acknowledging their error. Or addressing my concerns/ complaint. When I told them I would be writing a review they told me my dogs can no longer be seen there and hey will send me the records from 2022. Keep in mind the whole disagreement was because they initially told me my dogs weren’t seen there in the first place. It was weird energy and and actually really disappointing behavior for a person to display so early in the day. Rich told me, that “in the veterinary world right now their jobs are stressful”. As a crisis clinical psychologist, I don’t care. Everyone has problems! Check your attitude before you punch in and learn proper customer service. He threatened to hang up because I corrected him about both of my dogs being seen there. He said “no” If you are having a behavioral health crisis, please don’t work at a front desk. I have reported them to the better business bureau, the attorney generals office, DAR, as well as the board of veterinarian medicine. I hope they can the help they need. I will also be using my social handles to steer ppl clear from this place. ESPECIALLY if you are black. God forbid you ask a question or correct them on your dogs history of care. Now you are being “argumentative” …..very very very preventable and unfortunate. “I speak to ppl every day, I know tone” said Brittany…again talking to a therapist, tone is relative not universal. If you don’t know someone as a business, and engaging over a call… it’s safe to no practice judgment nor assumptions.

As you can see from the other reviews, staff is very rude and lacks accountability. They try to tell you your pet does not have records there, or established history. When I corrected the front desk person Rich, he told me he would disconnect the call. I called back to get his name just to write this review. He then called back less than 30secs later and told me my dogs will not be able to be seen there….I found that weird seeing he JUST told me my dog wasn’t on file, but now he can send me their records. If you are unable to admit when you make error will assisting a customer and your response is to then dismiss them vs take accountability you don’t need to be in that role. I have taken my complaints above them at this point. If you can’t be committed to a solution in a service position, then choose to tear you customers down including their character to avoid admitting error….you don’t need to be in business. Why would I want my dogs to be seen by an establishment that acts like that over basic discourse…absolutely not, not thanks!

This hospital is very thorough and caring towards my dog. I've received great care with all my visits. My dog has been a patient for 4 years. I was able to get an emergency appointment on a Saturday when my dog injured her leg. If my dog can't be seen in an emergency, they have helped to refer me to other urgent care centers. Prices are reasonable.
